Vicious as vicious can be—ang mga galit na fans ng young actress na si Rhian Ramos.
Nang unang pumutok ang balitang isang grupo ng fans ni Rhian ang tumiwalag sa kanya, ang Rhianatics, naging laman ito ng pahayagan at showbiz talk shows. Naging efficient ang mga tumiwalag na fans to use all possible means: the You Tube site kung saan nila pinost ang pagsunog ng tarpaulin ni Rhian; dito sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kung saan nila inilabas ang kanilang mga hinaing; at lalo na sa entertainment press na alam nilang malapit kay Rhian.
Isa kami sa nagulat nang nakatanggap din kami ng emails dahil bukod sa hindi naman kami ganun kalapit kay Rhian, very private ang aming email, na hindi libreng website lang at hindi namin ito ipinamimigay kahit kanino, lalo na outside of showbiz.
Recently, another group of fans decided to quit on Rhian, ang Rhian Online Friends. Muli, idinaan na naman sa email namin. This time, not only did we not touch the issue, pinangaralan pa namin sa mga columns namin ang mga fans na huwag maging obsessively possessive.
Muling sumagot ang mga fans in reaction to our columns but it didn't see print anymore dahil totally na-drop na ang issue.
It has everything to do with the fans' vehement disgust kay DJ Mo Twister na pinipilit nilang nanliligaw kay Rhian o boyfriend pa nga ngayon.
ANOTHER EMAIL. Dahil hindi na nga napansin ang last issue, three days before mag-fans day si Rhian sa Enchanted Kingdom bukas, August 25, isang email na naman ang natanggap namin na nagpapakilalang taga-Ayala Zobel School, tulad ni Rhian, at in defense daw sa radio host.
Ito ang buong email na ipinadala sa amin ng sender na may email address na zobelstudent@yahoo.com:
"I'm sending this email in defense of DJ Mo Twister. Rhian's fans kept saying that Mo is a bad influence for Rhian, but do they know what kind of girl Rhian really is? It's common knowledge between [sic] Zobel students that Rhian is a flirt. She goes out and flirts with anyone even in school.
"Also, why not ask Rhian what happened to her and another girl (I rather not give the name) in a retreat house that caused the girl to drop out? I don't want to elaborate on it. Better ask Rhian or do your research in her previous schools. Everyone knows about it because it became an issue.
"I also read in one article in Philippine Entertainment Portal that Rhian keeps saying that she don't [sic] go out on dates even with guys she wants to date. That is a lie. Go to Alabang Town Center and you can see Rhian with different guys. I heard she denied this certian PJ [Valerio] which I'm sure she dated. Ganyan ang ugali ni Rhian, mag-deny ng mag-deny.
"Her mom might not know what her daughter is doing so she should start following the places Rhian goes. I dare you to check Rhian's address book on her cell phone. All you gonna find are phone numbers and addresses of guys she flirts with. Rarely will you see contacts of girls there.
"It is also not true that Rhian never had a boyfriend. She had 3 past relationships. Imagine, at 16, she had already [had] 3."
Included in the email is a Photo Bucket address of a group of pictures kung saan either may hinahalikan si Rhian or humahalik na lalaki sa kanya. Sa pagkakabilang namin, there are five different guys with Rhian on those photos.
Hindi lang kami ang pinadalhan nito kundi iba pang manunulat at patnugot. Ang isang manunulat nga ay nag-forward ang email sa mismong ina ni Rhian.
RHIAN'S SIDE. Tinawagan agad namin kahapon, August 23, ang GMA Artist Center para makapag-react si Rhian bago namin isulat ang artikulong ito. Dumating sa Station 168 Internet Café sa Tomas Morato si Jenny Donato, Events and Publicity Specialist ng GMA Artist Center, para makita niya ang mga pictures sa aming email.
Nangako siya na ipapakausap sa amin kinabukasan (Biyernes) si Rhian to clear this up.
Kaninang hapon, August 24, ay tumawag nga sa amin si Jenny sa office phone ng GMA Artist Center. Nandoon daw si Rhian at ipinasa sa kanya ang telepono.
Ang una naming tanong kay Rhian ay kung saan nanggaling ang mga pictures na ikinalat sa Internet.
"They're in my personal Multiply site po which I haven't touched for the longest time since I entered showbiz," sagot niya.

"Of course, whoever distributed those pictures only took the ones where it was a boy I was kissing or being kissed. The pictures are still there," sabi ni Rhian, who will turn 17 years old on October 3.
Sabi pa ni Rhian, Multiply being a networking site, like Friendster, karamihan daw ng nakakaalam ng address niya ay mga personal friends niya, pero may ilan ding hindi niya kilala. Pero idiniin niya na naka-personal lock ang address niya. This means na kung hindi ka connected sa kanya, hindi mo ito mabu-view.
Tinanong namin kay Rhian kung sino ang mga guys na hinahalikan niya.
