Certified Kapuso star na ang Pambansang Kamao na si Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao. Pumirma noong Sabado ng gabi, September 8, si Manny sa GMA Network Center ng exclusive contract kasama ang mga executives ng Kapuso TV station.
Kasama sa pinirmahang kontrata ni Manny ang promotion ng kanyang susunod na laban against Marco Antonio Barrera sa Las Vegas, Nevada, sa October 6. Full support ang GMA-7 sa pag-promote at pagpalabas ng latest boxing bout ni Manny.
May gagawin ding isang sitcom si Manny para sa GMA-7 at pinag-uusapan pa kung sino ang makakasama niya. Balitang may isang sexy actress daw na ipapares kay Manny sa naturang show. Abangan na lang daw kung sino ito.
Magiging bahagi rin si Manny ng isang bagong reality show.
Magiging part din ng Sunday musical-variety show na SOP si Manny dahil dito siya mahahasa sa pagkanta at pagsayaw. May ipapauso raw na dance step ang SOP courtesy of choreographer Geleen Eugenio called "Pacquiao Punch." Makakasayaw ni Pacquiao rito ang young actors na sina Mark Herras, Marky Cielo, Mart Escudero, at iba pang mga GMA stars.
Natutuwa raw si Manny dahil sa magandang treatment na ibinigay sa kanya ng GMA-7. Hindi raw inaasahan ni Manny na maraming plano ang Kapuso network sa kanya.
"Nakakataba ng puso kasi matagal na akong sinusuportahan ng GMA-7 at natutuwa ako't isang Kapuso na ako," nakangiting sabi ni Manny.
"Excited na ako sa pagsimula ko ng mga shows dito sa GMA-7, pero tapusin ko muna ang magiging laban ko sa Las Vegas. Pagkatapos dun, manalo o matalo, tuloy tayo sa trabaho rito sa GMA-7."
Tatapusin na rin daw ni Manny ang mga nalalabing eksena niya para sa Metro Manila Film Festival entry na Anak Ni Kumander, kung saan ka-partner niya si Ara Mina.
