I have nothing but respect and
praises for her," says Billy Crawford about KC Concepcion.

"I haven't seen or talked to KC for a long time. Mga one year na siguro kaming hindi nag-uusap man lang and the said issue was a long, long ago issue pa. Ang hirap kasi dito sa atin, pinipik-up lang ang negative at ini-ignore na yung mga magagandang bagay na sinabi ko," sabi ni Billy sa presscon ng first major concert niya sa Pilipinas na It's Time, na ginanap kaninang hapon, September 12, sa Tramway Garden Buffet sa Timog Ave.
"In that said radio interview," patuloy niya, "we were having fun and it was made clear then na katuwaan lang ang lahat. It was a six o'clock [morning] radio program that intends to generate fun and laughter lang. Malinaw na malinaw sa pagkakatanda ko na nagbigay kami ng warning na nothing serious should be taken out of the remarks that I would say. I said nothing derogatory about KC, pero dun sa mga pumik-up ng isyu, negative pa ang ipinalabas and they made it controversial.
"But I did apologize. I have nothing but respect and praises for her," paliwanag ni Billy.
Meanwhile, Billy honestly opined that he somehow has something to thank for on the issue about him and KC.
"Sanay na ako sa ganyang bad press, even in France o kung saan man ako may show. It's just that dito nga sa atin, usung-uso yung pagpapalaki ng isyu kahit you meant no harm or bad to a person lalo pa't kaibigan mo naman," sabi pa ng dating child star.
"Of course, it would be great!" sagot niya. "Papadalhan ko sila ng tickets at sana nga mapanood nila ang show dahil it's worth their time.
BILLY BEHIND THE CAMERA. One year to go na lang si Billy sa kanyang Studio Engineering course sa New York University at plano niyang makuha na niya ang kanyang diploma soon.
At 25 years old, focus ni Billy Joe ang kanyang singing and recording career, pati na rin ang ilang movie offers from international movie outfits. He still sees Philippines as his mother home and if he settles down in the near future, he wants to raise his family here.
"Sobrang iba dito!" bulalas niya. "If ever na magkakaroon na ako ng mga anak, I want them to stay here, study here first, bago siguro sumubok sa ibang bansa."
Pinay pa rin daw ang preferred wife-to-be niya, though he had his last serious relationship three years ago with a foreigner that lasted only less than a year.
Nagkataon lang na marami pa akong gustong ma-achieve as a singer and an artist, kaya't kaya kong mabuhay na walang seryosong lovelife," sabi niya.
"Not my interest at all.
