"Taho. Wala. 'Tapos, kaninang umaga, mga alas-siyete pa lang, nagpabili na ako ng taho," narrates basketball player Marc Pingris about wife Danica Sotto's mood changes which can be attributed to her pregnancy.

StarTalk broke the news yesterday afternoon, November 17, about the pregnancy of actress Danica Sotto. It was her husband, Purefoods player Marc Pingris, who shared the good news.
"Unti-unti kong nahalata. 'Tapos, ayun. Bumili kami ng pregnancy, ano ba 'yon...test kit. Noong una nag-test kami, positive nga. Dalawang lines. So, bale tatlo lahat. So, doon, two lines talaga ang lahat."
Marc said though that Danica's condition is sensitive at this point. Danica, in a phone patch interview assured that everything is fine and that she is following her doctor's orders.
"Gusto ng doctor na bed rest ako for two weeks," said Danica. "Kasi may nakita kaunting bleeding sa loob. I think because nagka-UTI [urinary tract infection] din ako, so I think may effect din 'yon kaya may kaunting bleeding. Sa stress din siguro, sa mga ginagawa. Kasi hindi ko naman din alam na I was pregnant kaya very strenuous ang mga activities ko. Masyado akong maraming ginagawa. Siguro may time na nakita, yung kapit niya [of the fetus], yung medyo maselan yata, yung ganoon."
Marc narrated how they shared the news to their parents.
Pinagsasabihan niya si Danica kung ano yung gagawin," the Purefoods center said.
Marc also called up his French father in Europe.
The couple are expecting their baby on July of next year. They already have a wish for the gender of their first baby.
"Sa amin talaga, lalake talaga ang una. Lalake talaga ang gusto namin maging first baby," the soon-to-be father happily said.
