"Boring ang lovelife ko," replied actor Joem Bascon when asked about his relationship status during the press conference of Patayin sa Sindak si Barabara this afternoon, January 9, at the 9501 Restaurant in ABS-CBN Compound.

The 20-year-old actor said that he has been busy with work lately, and so he does not have time for a serious relationship. He added, "Puro work po kasi, e.

Does this mean that Joem prefers a non-showbiz girl in a relationship?

Sobrang busy, ang daming work.

"For me, non-showbiz or showbiz, okay lang.

In showbiz, Joem said, he is attracted to busy young actresses like Anne Curtis and Roxanne Guinoo.

However, the actor reiterated that he does not have time for his lovelife right now. "Kung may lovelife ako, boxing na yun," he said.

Late last year, Joem joined the Pinoy Mano-Mano: Celebrity Boxing Challenge, and was pitted against another actor, Jordan Herrera.

Joem, who plays John in Patayin sa Sindak si Barbara, explained that he did not join the said contest to become a popular boxer.

Does he intend to pursue a boxing career?

Joem ended with, "Hindi siguro, parang activity lang. Wala akong balak maging amateur boxer."

Aside from appearing in Patayin sa Sindak si Barbara and Pinoy Mano-Mano, Joem played supporting roles in the soap operas, Walang Kapalit and Prinsesa ng Banyera. He also acted as Iza Calzado's husband in the movie Batanes last year.

The young actor is set to do an independent film with Director Adolf Alix Jr.
