Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Teen Edition Season 1 ex-housemate Niña Jose is all grown up and raring to bare, but sophisticatedly, please.
She is now taking up dance lessons and intensive acting workshops sa DMV Studios.
"Pumayat na po ako, ‘tapos tumaba ulit, ‘tapos pumayat," sabi ng 19-year-old Assumptionista (elementary and high school) who has finished her freshman year in European Studies at the De La Salle University in Manila.
It was by choice that she did not renew her contract with Star Magic. At that time, gusto niya talagang mag-aral.
"Nahinto na po kasi during the PBB Teen and I want to continue my studies. Kaso dumating ang offer ni Mr. Valera and wow! it's like this is my calling after all."
Finishing her first year of college, Nina decided to stop again, samantalang papasok naman sa same university ang dati niya ring ka-housemate at manliligaw na si Fred Payawan.
Niña is now being considered as the new girl to be introduced in a sexy comedy movie of Regal Films, Sexy Papa, written by RJ Nuevas and to be directed by Jeff Tan. The other two actresses will be Rufa Mae Quinto and Katrina Halili. Scheduled din si Niña to be a cover girl of FHM magazine this year.
Balak pa ring ituloy ni Niña ang plano niya to join a beauty contest. Though she was invited by Lorraine Schuck to try it out sa Miss Earth, Niña is now considering Binibining Pilipinas, pero magpapapayat pa raw siya. Standing at a statuesque 5 feet 8 inches tall, she measures 36-27-38.
Naitanong namin sa kanya na ngayong nasa poder na siya ng DMV, there might be a possibility na mapanood na rin siya sa GMA-7, like Manny's other talents.
"Ang priority po ay ABS pa rin, pero if there is a good offer sa kabilang station, I would be happy to try it out," sagot ng very eloquent Assumptionista.
