Excited si Rhian Ramos nang makausap ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) pagkatapos ng contract signing niya sa GMA Films last January 16. Balitang si Robin Padilla ang kanyang makakapareha sa unang pelikula niya sa kontrata. Talented at sikat na aktor si Robin at matutuwa si Rhian na makatrabaho ang action star, plus the fact na gusto rin niyang mag-try ng action.
Aside from Robin, sino ang top three male actors ng Kapuso network ang gustong maging leading man ni Rhian?
"First on the list is Richard Gutierrez, dahil una ko siyang nakapareha at matagal na ring hindi kami nagkakasama. Richard was my first everything in terms of career. Siguro, I would enjoy going back and working with him again," umpisa ni Rhian, na naging leading lady ni Richard sa Captain Barbell at Lupin.
Patuloy ni Rhian, "Si Mark Herras din, because I'm comfortable working with him and he makes me at ease sa difficult scenes namin sa My Only Love.
"Dennis Trillo, of course. He's not just a good actor, he's also my crush."
What about Mo Twister?
"Does he act?" tanong niya. "I don't know if he knows how to act. Huwag na lang natin siyang isama sa list."
Sino namang talent ng ABS-CBN ang gusto niyang makapareha kung sakali at bakit?
"John Lloyd Cruz!" mabilis na sagot ni Rhian. "I think he has very powerful eyes. May scene na kahit hindi siya magsalita, alam mo na ang ibig sabihin. As an actor, I look up to him."
What about Sam Milby?
"Why not? Give me a movie!" bulalas ng 16-year-old actress.
NEXT DYESEBEL? Ang akala ng marami sa entertainment press ay tungkol sa Dyesebel ang pagpirma ni Rhian ng kontrata, pero clueless din ang young actress kung kanino ibibigay ng GMA-7 ang naturang project. Kung sa kanya nga ito raw ito ibibigay, magti-train daw siyang lumangoy.
May sagot din ni Annette Gozon-Abrogar tungkol dito, pero hindi nito dineretso kung si Rhian na nga ang next Dyesebel. Ang sabi lang nito: "Siyempre, ang next TV project niya ang pinaghahandaan. Sabay ay build-up ng TV at films sa kanya, to really help her in building her career."
Sumagot naman si Rhian: "Sobra na akong excited sa mangyayari sa akin sa GMA Films at sa magagandang project. I'm very confident I will never regret this, but I need your support."
ISSUE ON MARK. Kasama ni Rhian sa contract signing ang kanyang ina na Mrs. Clara Howell na nalulungkot na pati ang anak na si Nadine ay isinasali sa intrigang showbiz. Sana raw, siya na lang ang intrigahin at makakaya niya. Pero sa kuwento naman ni Rhian, mukhang kaya nito ang tsismis sa kanila ni Mark.
Kuwento ni Rhian, "Nakakatawa kasi walang alam ang Ate ko sa intriga at nang sabihin ko sa kanya, ayaw niyang maniwala. Biniro ko siyang sikat na siya. At kahit sa PEP, nasulat ka. Ayaw pa rin niyang maniwala, until ipinakita ko ang nakasulat sa computer. Hindi pa rin sila nagkikita ni Mark. Weird, nali-link sila pero hindi sila magkakilala at hindi pa nagkikita.

Totoo bang she's one of the causes of the Mark-Lian Paz breakup?
"Hindi ako involved doon at nasasali lang ako, because loveteam kami," sabi ni Rhian. "Hindi ko nga iniisip na liligawan niya ako at walang posibilidad talaga. Mabait siya at ang concern ko, I want him to heal. Gusto ko for him is just to relax and just feel, dahil di madali ang healing process. But I'm not sure if it's my place to give him advice, parang wala akong karapatan."
