Young actress Jennylyn Mercado failed to show up at the presscon of her latest movie with Japanese actor Jacky Woo titled Half Blood Samurai. According to Jennylyn's mother, Mrs. Lydia Mercado, it was Patrick Garcia who prevented the young actress from attending the presscon. Jennylyn is now pregnant with Patrick's child.

Hindi dumating si Jennylyn Mercado sa first presscon ng kanyang last movie bago siya manganak, ang Half Blood Samurai, dahil diumano sa kanyang boyfriend na si Patrick Garcia.
"Disappointed" ang paulit-ulit na pananalita ni Sonny Maculada, OIC ng Forward Films na siyang may gawa ng pelikula ng Japanese action star Jacky Woo at Jennylyn na ipalalabas sa March 5.
May pinirmahan na kontrata si Jennylyn sa Forward Films na kailangang puntahan niyang lahat ng presscon for this movie. Bago nagsimula ang presscon ng Half Blood Samurai kagabi, January 27, sa isang Japanese restaurant sa Ortigas, in-assure ng manager ni Jennylyn na si Becky Aguila—pati na rin ang ina-inahan nito na si Mrs. Lydia Mercado at ang handler niya—na darating si Jennylyn sa presscon. Manggagaling daw siya sa isang show sa Laguna.
Alas-sais ng gabi ang call time ng presscon and by 7:30 p.m., dahil nasa Ayala na raw ang sasakyan ni Jennylyn, minabuting mag-start na ang presscon bago siya dumating dahil pinaghihintay na rin ang star, producer, at director ng pelikula na si Jacky Woo.

Isa pa, may mga instances nang hindi talaga sinisipot ni Jennylyn ang presscon niya. In fact, isang invited press nga ang nag-advance ng kanyang panulat na "hindi sinipot ni Jennylyn ang press con" at tama nga siya.
