Claudine Barretto vacations with her family amidst controversy

Claudine's family gives her reason to smile amidst controversy.

A calm and sunny Claudine Barretto shared with GMA News her recent trip to Hong Kong and how it helped her find happiness in spite of an ongoing lawsuit.

GMA Newsgot the chance to get some updates from Claudine Barretto when at the recently held launch of Belo Medical Group's Skin magazine. Claudine revealed that her family and other close relatives were able to bond together during their trip to Hong Kong's Disneyland. This was the first chance in a long time for her whole family to get together in one grand vacation. "Nakapag-bonding kaming magkakamag-anak," she proudly said.

Claudine sent some of the photos of the trip to GMA News and shared the wonderful time she had, especially with her two kids, Sabina and Santino.

"Ang sarap!" she exclaimed, "Ang sarap talaga, kasi you see a little of yourself sa mannerisms nila, sa itsura nila, talagang sobrang hindi mo ma-explain. Motherhood talaga." Claudine also shared that her sisters Marjorie and Gretchen are very close to her kids.

Claudine couldn't ask for more, especially when controversy seems to loom in every direction.

Recently, Claudine filed a lawsuit against her former househelp. Claudine remained quiet throughout the whole issue out of sympathy for the househelp. But the accused person countered Claudine's complaint of qualified theft with a case of perjury.

When asked to comment, Claudine demurred, "Ayoko sagutin. Sa korte na namin aayusin yun. Ayoko magsalita. Masakit."
