Star-studded ang unveiling ng second volume ng Belo's Skin magazine at formal opening ng Belo clinic na ginanap sa TriNoma mall last Wednesday. Dumating kasama ang kanyang asawang si Raymart Santiago ang cover ng Skin at endorser ng Smart Lipo and Carboxytherapy na si Claudine Barretto.
That day lumabas din ang balita na nagsampa na ng kasong perjury at libel laban kay Claudine ang dati niyang personal assistant (PA) na si Nancy Cruz.
"I don't want to talk about it. Ngayon ko lang nalaman ang tungkol diyan," pag-iwas ni Claudine nang makorner ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
Nagulat ba siya sa demanda?
"Wala lang. Hindi naman ako nagulat. Basta," kasunod ang pag-iling ni Claudine.
"Matagal na ‘yon. Nauna pa kami sa kanya magsampa ng demanda."
NO ANGEL IN DRESSING ROOM. Kasunod ng isyung demanda ng dating P.A. ni Claudine ang paglabas muli ng intriga sa kanila ni Angel Locsin. Takang-taka si Claudine kung bakit may isyu na pinaalis niya ng dressing room sa ASAP si Angel.
"Hindi totoo yun. There was never a time na nagkasama kami sa ASAP at nag-share ng dressing room. Kung may event man na nagkasama kami, that was nung Christmas special pa ng ABS-CBN sa Meralco Theater. But that was a long time na. Bakit ngayon lang [lumabas]?
"And during that time, may iba talaga akong kasama sa dressing room, sina Bea [Alonzo]... Kristine [Hermosa]... yun. Pero bakit ASAP?
"‘Tsaka wala sa personality ko naman ang magpaalis ng tao," malungkot na pahayag ni Claudine.
Kapag nagge-guest naman daw siya sa ASAP, nire-request niya talaga na solo siya sa dressing room dahil marami siyang laging kasama. At minsan, dinadala pa niya ang kanyang anak kapag may guesting siya sa ASAP. Unless kapag marami talagang artista at kulang na ang dressing room, okey lang sa kanya ang may ka-share.
Na-meet na raw niya si Angel and she's a sweet and nice person naman daw, ayon kay Claudine. She's even looking forward na makatrabaho si Angel sa ABS-CBN.
Gayundin si Kristine Hermosa, tulad noon ni Bea Alonzo na nakasama niya sa Ikaw Ang Lahat sa Akin.
THEN JOHN PASSED BY. Habang kausap namin si Claudine ay nasa likod lang namin si John Estrada na kasama sa "kisscandal" ng kapatid niyang si Gretchen Barretto. Tinanong namin siya kung okey na ba sila ni John.
"Okey lang," matipid na sagot ni Claudine. "Alangan namang paalisin ko siya? Hindi naman ito dressing room," kasunod ang tawa namin dahil natumbok namin ang birong-seryoso ng misis ni Raymart Santiago.
Samantala, suut-suot ni Claudine ang Valentine gift sa kanya ni Raymart na bonggang-bonggang diamond earrings. Suot din niya ito noong surprise bithday celebration ni Gretchen Barretto sa ASAP. Claudine gave her hubby something na related sa pagta-triathlon ni Raymart.
Itinanggi naman ni Claudine na dalawang CD lang ng kapatid niyang si Gretchen ang binili niya. Mabuti pa raw si Marjorie, marami ang binili.
"Hindi ko nga binili yun, e. Hiningi ko lang sa yaya niya," pambubuking ni Claudine.
MARJORIE'S "KEPT MAN." And speaking of Marjorie, masaya raw si Claudine kung masaya ang kapatid niya sa sinasabing "kept man" nito.
"Basta ayusin niya ang papers niya for annulment. Ongoing pa kasi yung annulment niya [with husband Dennis Padilla]."
