Kasama kasi ngayon sa dalawang ABS-CBN TV shows ang Fil-Canadian beauty, ang Utoy at Banana Split. Kasama rin si Riza sa Robin Padilla-Ai Ai delas Alas starrer na Ikaw Pa Rin under Viva Films at sa direksyon ni Wenn Deramas. She plays the role of a balikbayan in the movie at may kissing scene pa with Binoe.
A daughter of an associate pastor, Riza remembers how they spent their Lenten Season in Canada.
"We attend church on Fridays and Sundays. My dad used to be an associate pastor and our family is very involved in church work. In terms of observing the Holy Week as a Christian, I do remember the sacrifice our Saviour made."
Ani Riza, isang tradisyong hanggang ngayo'y ginagawa nila sa kanilang church sa Canada ay ang paghuhugas ng paa ng kanilang mga kasama sa simbahan.
"It's kind of a humbling experience. I remember attending church every day. My family emphasized the importance of going to church, especially my dad."
With her blooming career now, hindi na raw siya gano'n kadalas makapunta ng church. Pero hindi pa rin niya nalilimutan ang kanyang Christian values at pag-alaala sa sacrifice ng ating Panginoon.
