Kalat na kalat sa Internet ang nude photos ng diumano'y young actress na si Ira Eigenmann. Si Ira ay anak ng aktor na si Mark Gil sa dating aktres na si Irene Celebre, na nag-aartista rin. Kapatid din si Ira ng actor-singer na si Gabby Eigenmann. Ang dalaga ay kasama sa afternoon soap ng ABS-CBN na Prinsesa ng Banyera.
Kani-kanina nga lamang ay naglabas ang PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ng balita tungkol sa "explicit photos" na pinaniniwalaan ng mga Internet visitors na si Ira.
Ang mga nude pictures, na may date na 2008/01/18, ay kuha diumano sa isang paupahang kuwarto sa isang resort somewhere in the Philippines. Ayon sa mga blogs (blog site names withheld--Ed.), ang kumuha raw ng mga litrato ay ang American boyfriend ng babaeng naka-pose sa mga ito. Ang boyfriend din daw ang itinuturong nagpakalat ng mga naturang litrato sa Internet.
Sinubukan ng PEP na kunin ang reaksiyon ni Ira sa pamamagitan ng text kanina, March 27, subalit hindi ito sumasagot. Kaya ang ina nitong si Irene Celebre ang kinuhanan namin ng komento ukol dito at hindi naman siya nagdamot.
Mariing pinabulaanan ni Irene na ang anak niya ang nasa mga naturang larawan.

Tinanong ng PEP kung naapektuhan ba ng mga nagkalat na nude photos si Ira at kung paano ito tinanggap ng kanyang anak.
"Yes, very much," sagot ng ina ni Ira. "Isa rin siya sa nabiktima ng publicity or whatever scandal that is absolutely not true. We are praying that it will just fade because it affects us all. My daughter is a good woman, no bad habits—she doesn't smoke or drink whatsoever, very responsible woman."
