Proud parents Camille Prats and Anthony Linsangan welcomed their baby, Nathaniel Caesar or Nathan, to the Christian world at Christ The King, Green Meadows, Pasig City last March 29.
Family and friends in and out of showbiz were there to witness the baptism of baby Nathan with Father Arman Tangi, a close friend of Prats family, as the officiating priest. Nathan, the first grandchild on both sides of his family, is considered a very lucky boy.
Among the celebrity godparents who attended the baptism were John Prats (Camille's elder brother), Shaina Magdayao, Bubbles Paraiso, Brian Revilla, Marco Alacaraz, Ryan Yllana, and Direk Mike Tuviera.
MOMMY CAMILLE.
"He is truly a blessing and God's gift to us. He is giving us so much joy kaya naman masasabi kong sobrang fulfilled na ako as a woman. Ang sarap ng feeling to be a mom and I'm so thankful dahil napakabait na bata ni Nathan. We really have a beautiful family.
"Ang sarap, siyempre we're very excited because this is the first time na all our family and friends are coming together to meet the baby. ‘Tapos ngayon ko lang din sila makikita lahat after I got back from the States, so siyempre sobrang excited.
"Ang mapa-promise ko kay Nathan, kami ng daddy niya will always be here for him no matter what. And we will always try to give him what's best for him at hinding-hindi kami mawawala sa likod niya at susuportahan namin siya sa lahat ng gusto niya. We will always be here to protect and love him."
I promise to take care and love them always."
From the church to the reception ay sila ang nakipag-usap at nag-asikaso ng lahat.
"From every little detail, to venue, catering, church inasikaso talaga namin. Light blue ang napili naming motif."
BIGGEST BLESSING.
"He is very jolly, napakamasayahin niyang bata," very proud na sabi ng dating child star. "He doesn't cry, he rarely cries and he is always smiling.
Kasi when I was pregnant, the first few months, medyo nandun yung umiiyak ako kasi it was very hard at first siyempre. When my family found out, when I told everyone about my situation, mahirap. I tried not to cry or to be depressed because I know it affects him somehow, so I'm just thankful na hindi yun nakaapekto sa bata," kuwento ni Camille.
Sobrang lokang-loka sila. Five AM pa lang, kumakatok na sila sa kuwarto to get Nathan para ilipat sa kuwarto nila or ibababa at paaarawan. So yun ang sistema namin sa house."
GODPARENTS' WISH.
THE RECEPTION. After the baptism of Nathan ay sa Blue Leaf Silk Pavilion sa McKinley Hill Village, Taguig, ginanap ang reception. Ilan sa mga dumating pang bisita nina Camille at Anthony ay sina John "Sweet" Lapus, Carlene Aguilar with baby Calix Andreas, Raymond Gutierrez, and Melissa Avelino.
