Mababawasan na ang pagkakataong makita ang young actor na si Richard Gutierrez sa GMA-7. Ito ay bunsod ng desisyon ng Kamandag star na huwag nang lumabas pa sa Sunday musical variety show ng GMA network.
Ayon sa ulat ni Jun Lalin sa Abante Tonite ngayon, April 15, napagdesisyunan ni Richard at ng kanyang management team na huwag na siyang maging parte ng SOP Rules upang maiwasan na rin ang ilang intriga sa show.
Ngunit nilinaw ng ina at tumatayong manager ni Richard na si Annabelle Rama, "Pero kapag may mga promo si Richard, a-appear pa rin sa SOP ang anak ko."
Sa darating na Linggo, April 20, lalabas si Richard sa naturang Sunday musical-variety program para sa grand farewell promo ng Kamandag na matatapos na sa April 25.
Samantala, ibinalita naman ni Jun, na siya ring publicist ng pamilya Gutierrez, na ayos na ang usapin kaugnay sa renewal of contract ni Richard sa Kapuso network. Ayon kay Jun, sa mga darating na araw ay pipirma na ang young actor. Isang two-year exclusive contract diumano ang muling pipirmahan ni Richard sa GMA-7.
Nabanggit din ni Jun na wala naman daw naging problema si Richard o ang ina nitong si Annabelle sa top executives ng GMA network na sina Atty. Felipe Gozon (GMA president), Annette Gozon-Abrogar (GMA Films president) at Ms. Wilma Galvante (senior vice president for entertainment). (Click here to read related article)
Muling paglilinaw ni Annabelle, "Maayos kami ng big bosses ng Siete. Inayos nila ang anumang problema kaya happy kami."
Bukod sa Kamandag ay napapanood din si Richard sa Nuts Entertainment.
Napag-alaman naman ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) na ang kasunod na project ni Richard sa GMA-7 after Kamandag ay ang Asero, na ang ilang bahagi ay kukunan pa raw sa Dubai.
