It's all systems go for the newest Sine Novela of GMA-7, Magdusa Ka.
Based on the 1986 Viva Films movie starring Dina Bonnevie and the late Nida Blanca under the direction of Eddie Garcia, the TV adaptation of Magdusa Ka reads and feels like primetime dahil sa laki ng cast at direction.
Masasabing ito ang launching ni Katrina as bida after portraying several contravida roles in the past.
Completing the love triangle is StarStruck 3 First Princess Iwa Moto, who will play the expanded role of Pinky Amador in the original movie, si Millette.
Portraying the character Toyang of the late Nida Blanca will be Rita Avila.
It was originally portrayed by the late Dindo Fernando.
Portraying Doña Perla, originally played by Armida Siguion-Reyna, is Liza Lorena who was also in the original movie playing the role of Olivia, ang ina ni Milette. Jackie Lou Blanco takes over that role of Liza Lorena.
Kasama rin sa cast sina Gabby Eigenmann as Roland (originally portrayed by Ricky Davao), half-brother ni Rod; Emilio Garcia as the father (a new character) of Roland and Rod; Ana Capri as Rod's other woman Hedy (originally played by Jaclyn Jose); Anton Bernardo as Victor (originally played by the late Gil de Leon), Rod's stepfather; Prince Stefan as Sonny, Rod's half-brother; and Rich Asuncion as Violy (originally played by Jobelle Salvador); Christine's best friend.
It will start its run on May 12, coincidentally Dennis Trillo's birthday.
