Hindi pa man eksena ni Gabby Eigenmann ang kukunan sa Magdusa Ka! nang dalawin namin ang taping nito, nasa set na si Gabby at naghihintay na ng instructions. Kaya sinamantala ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ang pagkakataon para makatsika siya sa isa sa private rooms ng Marinara, isang girlie club sa may Quezon Avenue.

"As much as possible, ayoko nang magsalita pa tungkol sa isyung 'yan," sabi pa ni Gabby habang napapailing. "I have to protect my sister, kaso nga, nariyan na 'yan.
"Ang sa akin lang, ayoko nang palakihin pa. With what has happened, we're all just here to support her. Hindi naman din tama na ilaglag siya dahil doon.
"The family is behind her, and we just don't want to make a big deal out of it. But, it's not true that my parents are disowning her dahil doon," paglilinaw ng aktor.
Naitanong namin kay Gabby na sa loob ng 12 years niya sa showbiz, ano ang stand niya sa ganitong mga bagay? The Gils and the Eigenmanns of showbiz are considered a royal family, kaya isang kamalian lang ng isang miyembro nito, tiyak na damay ang lahat at hinihingan na sila ng reaction.
"Kaya nga it entails a lot of responsibilities," sabi ni Gabby. "Naririto agad kami sa showbiz dahil sa pangalan ng parents and elders namin, so, it's just proper na protektahan namin yun by staying away from troubles at kung anu-anong controversies.
"'Pag may pagkakamali at pagkukulang ang isa, hindi dapat kinukunsinti. Kaya lang, may mga bagay na kami-kami na lang ang dapat nagkakausap at nakakaintindi, para hindi naman malagay sa alanganin ang buong clan namin.
"The family remains intact. 'Yan ang stand namin, kahit ano pa ang mangyari, dapat ay sama-sama kami sa pagharap sa problema, sa challenges. For us, yung nangyari kay Katherine, it's really no big deal," katuwiran ni Gabby.
LOYAL KAPUSO. Sa Magdusa Ka!, Gabby plays the role of Roland, half-brother ni Dennis Trillo sa istorya.
"This time, good boy role ito," nangingiting sabi pa niya. "I was given good boy roles na rin before, but for a long time, puro bad characters ang naa-assign sa akin. Na wala namang problema.
"Kaya masaya rin ako dahil naiiba itong latest assignment na ibinigay sa akin."
Sa totoo lang, Gabby may be just on the sidelines as a character actor, pero he remains loyal sa GMA-7. Parang kaunti na lang sila na genuinely proud to be Kapuso talaga.
"Kokonti lang ba? Hindi naman," parang nadiyahe si Gabby sa observation namin.
"Marami pa ring iba riyan. Ang sa akin lang, GMA-7 talaga ang nagtitiwala sa akin, hindi naman ako napapabayaan.
"Lagi akong may assignments. Nag-decide man silang maging semi-regular na lang ako sa S.O.P., still, nabigyan ako ng chance to concentrate more on drama and other kinds of roles.
"Hindi ako nawawala sa mga teleserye. Ako naman, I'm just here to work. Kung ano ang ibigay sa akin, pinagbubuti ko at ipinagpapasalamat ko. Wala akong karapatang magreklamo. Walang dahilan para gawin ko 'yun," sabi na lang ni Gabby.
CONTENTMENT. Kung gugustuhin lang talaga ni Gabby, puwedeng naging pambida siya. Hindi lang naging ganoon ang packaging niya.
"Kuntento na kasi ako sa ganito. Kung bibigyan man ako ng opportunities na ganyan, why not? Pagtatrabahuan ko rin.
"Like here in Magdusa Ka, medyo nagbawas na ako ng timbang dito, para may makita naman silang bago sa akin. Kung mayroong pagkakataon, just give me enough time, I will work on the physical equirements.
