Apat na taon nang magkasinatahan sina Iya Villana at Drew Arellano. Kaya hindi na pinagtakhan ng lahat nang lumabas ang balita na nagbabalak na raw magpakasal ang dalawa.
May panghihinayang nga lang sa ilang malalapit sa magkasintahan dahil sa balitang ito. Bukod kasi sa bata pa sila ay maayos naman daw ang takbo ng career nila pareho.
Sa nakaraang Us Girls Grand Eyeball sa SM The Block, North EDSA, Quezon City, nilinaw sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ni Iya na walang katotohanan ang balitang pagpapakasal nila at sinabi pang nag-ugat lang ang balitang kasalan dahil na rin sa pagiging joker ng boyfriend.
"'Wag kayong maniniwala kay Drew, since last year pa niloloko na niya ang tungkol diyan. He's always fooling around. Magtatanong siya or magni-kneel siya, pero ang sasabihin niya, ‘Will you watch a movie with me?' He always plays around," sagot ni Iya nang tanungin ng PEP about the rumor.
Wala pa naman daw sila ni Drew sa ganung stage ng kanilang relationship. Although aminado si Iya na nakita na rin niya kay Drew ang taong she wants to spend the rest of her life with.
"We're together, we're loving each other. It doesn't really matter whether we're getting married or what. But what's important is what's happening now, and what's happening right now is that we're together. We're boyfriend-girlfriend and we're happy with that. I wouldn't be with him untill now if I'm not happy with him."
Iya is also busy with her upcoming album under Viva Records to be released by the end of July or early August.
