Ngayong araw na ito, September 9, ay nasa Baguio City ang heartthrob na si Sam Milby para sa isang speaking engagement. Siya kasi ang hinirang ng Department of Education as Youth Spokesperson and Role Model on the occasion of the 6th National Leadership Training for Student Government Officers (NLTSGO) by the Department of Education Center for Students and Co-Curricular Affairs.
Kasalukuyang ginaganap ang halos one-week affair na ito sa Teachers Camp sa Baguio City na nagsimula noong September 6. Annually ay ginaganap ang naturang training ng Department of Education para sa high school students.
Around 2,500 high school students, who have been elected as officers of Supreme Student Council in their respective schools, from all over the country attended the said affair.
Kahit busy sa pagte-taping ng kanyang primetime series na Dyosa at ng kanyang independent film na Cul de Sac, hindi pinalampas ni Sam ang pagkakataon na umakyat ng Baguio at tanggapin ang kakaibang responsibilidad na ibinigay sa kanya ng Department of Education. Isang karangalan para sa matinee idol ang naturang karangalan na ibinigay sa kanya ng Dep Ed.
