Halos every year daw ay present si Isabel Oli sa yearly Cosmopolitan Bachelors' Bash, pero siyempre this year, her main reason for coming is to give support to her boyfriend, Paolo Contis na isa sa featured centerfold ng Cosmomen supplement ng Cosmopolitan.
"It's his first, so, talagang yun ang suporta ko sa kanya. Pero alam ko na kaya niya yun," panimulang pahayag ni Isabel nang makausap ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sa loob ng A Venue Event Hall sa Makati City, last Thursday night, September 11, bago nagsimula ng fashion show.
HAVE FUN! Siya na rin daw ang nagsabi kay Paolo na huwag nitong isipin na nasa audience siya para hindi ito mailang.
"Sabi ko nga sa kanya, huwag niyang isipin na nandoon ako. ‘Gawin mo kung ano ang gusto mo. Baka isipin mo, nanonood ako.' Pero hindi naman siguro siya kakabahan at saka, hindi naman siguro niya ako makikita dahil ang dami-daming tao, ‘no!" natatawa niyang sabi.
"Basta sabi ko sa kanya, have fun! ‘Bahala ka na! Gawin mo kung ano'ng gusto mo.' At saka, sabi ko, hindi ako magagalit, swear! Ha-ha-ha!"
Pero kuwento rin ni Isabel, hindi naman daw niya nakitang kinakabahan ang boyfriend bago ito magpunta ng Bachelors' Bash. Relaxed naman daw si Paolo.
Si Isabel din ang nagkuwento na puro gym, diet, at halos hindi na nga raw kumakain si Paolo para mapaghandaan ang naturang event.
Tinanong din ng PEP si Isabel kung ano ang una niyang reaction nang malaman niyang rarampa si Paolo.
"Siyempre, happy ako! Happy ako! And para kasing kung sa girl, may sexiest din...so, alam ko yung feeling na parang, ‘Wow! Isa ako sa mga sexiest?' So, happy ako for him."
Kung nagkabaligtad kaya at siya naman ang rarampa nang sexy, magiging kasing-supportive din kaya niya si Paolo?
"Naku, hindi ko nga alam kung magagawa ko yun!" natatawa niyang sabi. "Pero si Paolo, oo naman. Alam ko naman na susuportahan niya rin ako. Kasi, noong mag-two-piece ako, mag-sexy ako, okey naman siya, e! So, yun...okey naman sa kanya, kaya okey rin sa akin."
Proud siya kay Paolo?
"Yes! 100 percent proud!" may pagmamalaki nga niyang sabi.
WEDDING IS LONG WAY OFF. Kinumusta rin ng PEP kay Isabel ang plano nilang pagpapakasal dahil balitang napag-uusapan na nilang dalawa ito.
"Pinag-uusapan lang, pero, wala...wala pang definite. Napag-uusapan lang pero wala pa...wala pa yun. Malayo pa yun."
May plano na ba kung anong taon?
"Wala, wala pa...napag-uusapan lang, pero, matagal pa yun. May plano kami sa house. May plano kami sa kung anong wedding, anong klase, yung ganoon lang...at saka, mga bata pa naman kami. Enjoy muna."
Maybe next year?
"Not next year, definitely, not next year," nakangiti niyang pagtanggi.
