Noong isang taon, ini-release ng Star Magic ang 2008 catalogue nito sa magkasabay na event, isa para sa mga fans at isa para sa mga piling imbitado. Ginanap ang pang-fans sa kabubukas pa lang noon na TriNoMa samantalang ang private affair naman ay ginanap sa 9501 restaurant sa 14th floor restaurant ng ELJ Building sa ABS-CBN compound.
Ngayong taon, ganito rin ang gagawin ng Star Magic sa pagdiriwang ng kanilang ika-16 na taon.
Sa Linggo, Setyembre 28, ilulunsad ang Star Magic Catalogue 2009 at gagawin ito ng alas-kuwatro ng hapon sa SM Megamall. Inaasahang darating sina Piolo Pascual, Diether Ocampo, Jake Cuenca, Matt Evans, Melissa Ricks, PBB Teens, at marami pang iba.
Ibebenta ang catalogue sa lugar sa halagang 130 pesos. Sa unang 250 buyers, may chance na makilala at magpa-autograph sa mga artistang naroon. May mga blow-up photos ng mga artista ng Star Magic ang naka-display at magkakaroon din ng games and raffle.
Ang private affair naman ay gaganapin sa EDSA Shangri-la lobby ng araw at oras na rin yun.
Para sa 2009 Star Magic catalogue, beauty at fashion shots ng mga artista ng Star Magic ang tema. Si Paolo Pineda ang photographer at si Luis Espiritu naman sa styling.
