Dingdong Dantes made a slip in announcing that his next GMA-7 primetime soap is still with Marian Rivera.
Naghintay na bumalik sa set si Dingdong ang piling manunulat, kabilang ang PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) na naimbitahan sa first shooting day ng One True Love ng GMA Films at Regal Entertainment kahapon, September 24. Kailangan kasing palitan ang benda ng kanyang sugat sa kamay dahil nababad na naman ito noong Martes, September 23, sa taping ng Dyesebel.
Nasugatan ang kanang kamao ni Dingdong sa isang eksena sa Dyesebel kung kaya't kailangan itong mabendahan. Dahil halata ito, minabuti ng creative staff ng Dyesebel na ma-incorporate na rin ang sugat niya bilang Fredo.
Habang hinihintay si Dingdong, pilit na tinatanong ng entertainment press kay Marian kung ano ang magiging next project niya pagkatapos ng Dyesebel. Magaling magtago si Marian at walang makuha sa kanya kundi drama raw ang susunod niyang soap. Hindi rin sumasagot si Marian sa katanungan kung sino ang makakatambal niya; magpapangtlong ulit ba sila ni Dingdong o bibigyan na siya ng bagong kapareha.
Pagdating ni Dingdong, sumalang na agad siya sa interview para sa promo ng pelikula nila nina Marian at Iza Calzado sa direction ni Mac Alejandre at ipalalabas sa November 19.
Ilang sandali pa, si Dingdong naman ang tinanong kung alam na niya ba ang next project niya sa GMA-7.
"Oo, kami ulit ni Marian," sagot niya na parang wala pa sa sarili dahil napasagot agad sa sunud-sunod na tanong sa kanya.
Naghiyawan ang mga manunulat at sinabing "lagot!" siya kay Marian dahil ayaw pa ngang umamin ng screen partner niya kung sila pa rin ba ang magsasama.
"Hindi ko naman sasabihin kung ano, e. Basta nakausap na kami tungkol dito," nakangiting palusot ni Dingdong.
Para maligaw lalo, ang unang sagot ni Dingdong kung ano ang magiging genre nito, baka raw comedy na taliwas sa sagot ni Marian na drama ito.
Hindi pa talaga puwedeng pag-usapan ang magiging next projects nina Dingdong at Marian. Sa tatlong ipinapalabas na primetime soaps ng GMA-7—Codename: Asero ni Richard Gutierrez, Dyesebel nina Marian at Dingdong, at Ako Si Kim Samsoon ni Regine Velasquez—nakalatag na ang mga ipapalit. Ito ay ang La Lola nina JC de Vera at Rhian Ramos, Gagambino ni Dennis Trillo, at Luna Mystica nina Heart Evangelista at Mark Anthony Fernandez.
Ang susunod na isasalang rito ay ang Zorro ni Richard kung kaya't matagal pa talaga bago simulan ang third soap nina Dingdong at Marian. Kaya hindi pa talaga dapat binabanggit para lalong manabik ang mga fans nila.
