TV Ratings (Sept. 26-29): "SOP" rules over "ASAP '08"

GMA-7's musical-variety show SOP made it two in a row against rival show ASAP '08, as it once again ruled the daytime race last Sunday, September 28—18 percent versus 16 percent. SOP's episode last Sunday featured the 48th anniversary of Regal Films and the borthday celebration of Kuya Germs.
In the battle of showbiz talk shows, Showbiz Central managed to be ahead again of The Buzz; 12.6 percent against 11.8 percent. They ranked third and fourth, respectively, behind Dear Friend's 15 percent.
ABS-CBN's Pinoy Dream Academy Little Dreamers topped the primetime race with 27.9 percent; followed by Kapuso shows Mel & Joey (23.7 percent), Kap's Amazing Stories (23.6 percent), Tok! Tok! Tok! Isang Milyon Pasok (23 percent), and All Star K (21.6 percent) to complete the Top 5.
The TV coverage of Sharon Cuneta's Megathirty concert posted a rating of 16.6 percent to take the 8th place; GMA-7's special documentary on Philippine presidents, Newsmakers, took the 1oth place with 14.2 percent.
Michael V's gag show Bitoy's Funniest Videos lorded the competition among Saturday (September 27) primetime programs posting the highest rating of 35.1 percent. Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho came in second with 31.3 percent; followed by Celebrity Duets, Imbestigador, and Pinoy Dream Academy Little Dreamers.
In the daytime race, Eat Bulaga! remains unbeatable with 22.3 percent. Occupying the rest of the Top 5 are Pinoy Records (19.4 percent), Wowowee (17.3 percent), Wish Ko Lang (17.2 percent), and Takeshi's Castle (16 percent).
Eat Bulaga! also topped the daytime race Friday, September 26, but Gaano Kadalas ang Minsan took that position Monday, September 29.
Dyesebel, on the other hand, is still comfortable with its No. 1 position in the primetime race.
