In the noontime telecast of Q11's Balitanghali, it
was reported that model-TV host Phoemela Baranda and Bamboo guitarist Ira Cruz were involved
in a car accident in Urdaneta Village, which is along EDSA in Makati
City, early this morning, October 4. The Buzz showbiz reporter's black
Ford Escape SUV slammed into a street-light post at around 2 a.m.
According to photographer Val Leonardo, it was Ira who was driving the vehicle when the accident occurred. He even showed photos of the couple minutes before the crash happened.
Phoemela and Ira were brought to the Makati Medical Center,
where they were treated for their wounds.
