Actor Rustom Padilla explains that he wore feminine attire at Gawad
Urian in preparation for his one-man show early next year. "Para siyang
Doña Buding [character popularized by Nanette
Inventor]. Stand-alone character. Iba yung physical preparation.
Nag-aaral ako
ng ballet for this character. Female character kasi si Gandang Hangin,"
says Rustom.

"Yeah, this is a character," sabi ni Rustom. "I'm Binibining Gandang Hangin. We're preparing a one-man show. Pinaplano namin sa February sa Music Museum. Para siyang Doña Buding [character popularized by Nanette Inventor]. Stand-alone character. Iba yung physical preparation. Nag-aaral ako ng ballet for this character.
"Naku, no comment muna tayo riyan. No comment muna. We'll just cross the bridge when we get there.
That's my personal story. I mean, you know, I don't need to ask permission [from] anyone," sagot ni Rustom.
