Nagbalik na sa Pilipinas ang Megastar na si Sharon Cuneta kagabi, Oktubre 10, mula sa Hong Kong. Ayon sa report ng Saksi kagabi, kasama niyang dumating ang kanyang panganay na anak na si KC Concepcion, ang pinsang si Ciara Sotto, at malapit na kaibigang si Fanny Serrano.
Sa kanyang pagdating, sinalubong ang Megastar ng media upang alamin ang tunay na estado ng relasyon nila ng asawang si Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan. Habang wala kasi si Sharon ay pumutok ang balita na naghiwalay na sila ng kanyang mister na senador at ito ang dahilan kung bakit siya pumunta ng Hong Kong noong Lunes, October 6.
Tulad ni Sen. Pangilinan, tumanggi rin si Sharon na magbigay ng anumang komento tungkol sa isyu.
Sa patuloy na paghahabol sa kanya ng media, ilang maikling pahayag ang kanyang naibigay.
"As you can see, I don't have the two little girls with me, so mali-mali ang mga information," wika ni Sharon.
Ayon kasi sa lumabas na report ay kasama ng Megastar ang dalawa nilang anak ni Kiko na sina Frankie at Miel, pati na ang mga yaya nito. Pero pinabulaanan ito ng kaibigan ng Megastar na si Fanny Serrano sa text message na ipinadala niya sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) noong Huwebes, October 9. Sa isang text message, sinabi ni Fanny, "Alone time nilang mag-asawa ngayon, nauna lang umalis nang solo niya this week si Sharon. Hindi totoo na kasama niya sina Frankie at Miel dahil may pasok sa school ang mga bata. Next week naman, si Senator Kiko ang mag-isang aalis. Susundan ‘yon ng family bonding, kasama na nila ang mga anak nilang sina KC, Frankie, at Miel. At kelan naman um-attend si Mega sa mga senators' spouses nite nila? Ever since, hindi, di ba? Thank you."
Nang tanungin ng isang reporter kung hindi totoong hiwalay na sila ni Kiko, ito ang isinagot ng Megastar: "I'll give you one word. Burnout. Burnout... I'm burned out of intriga."
