LJ Moreno is making a comeback as a Viva Artist Agency (VAA) talent via the movie Singles. Sa kanilang magkakabarkada sa movie (Mylene Dizon, Desiree del Valle, Angelu de Leon and Rufa Mae Quinto), she's the most conservative and yet unang nabuntis at nag-asawa.
Enjoy siya rito dahil comedy naman daw. She's also looking forward to doing an indie movie. I guess kasi, it's really fun and I guess, iba siya.
Maybe because, we're of the same age, girl and everything. So, happy naman ako sa mga sinimulan kong gawin under Viva and there are still projects na under negotiations pa."
LICENSED TEACHER. Sa mga hindi nakakaalam, LJ is actually a licensed teacher na nagtapos sa O.B. Montessori ng Early Childhood Education. For less than two years, nakapagturo na raw siya sa isang pre-school sa Corinthian, at sa Little Gym ng one year and a half.
Very proud si LJ sa pagkukuwento ng experience niya when she took up the board exam for teachers.
"Grabe, halos nag-anxiety attack kaya ako! I checked the papers. Kasi, di ba, parang nakakahiya kung bumagsak ako, di ba? It was October last year noong inilabas ang result."
Isang pangarap niya ang natupad when she finished her education course.
"Gusto ko talaga. Eventually, gusto kong magtayo ng sarili kong school. Maybe a year or two. I see myself teaching, maybe, when I have a family na.
Hininto ko lang muna yung pagtuturo because I decided to come back na rin, in showbiz. Na-miss ko rin talaga ang acting...feeling ko rin kasi, before, I was younger. So, hindi ko masyadong naa-appreciate.
"Nate-take for granted ko, my work and everything. I got my degree and I passed the board exam.
NO REGRETS. Wala raw siyang nararamdamang regrets sa naging desisyon niya na for the past years, halos nawala talaga siya sa showbiz at ngayon nga lang ulit nagka-comeback.
"No regrets, ngayon kasi, parang back from scratch talaga ‘ko. Ready naman ako ro'n. As far as regrets, wala talaga. Kahit before, kapag nagte-taping ako, in the back of my mind, parang, okey, ang dami ko ngang work, pero, parang may kulang...may kulang.
I don't care if you say it's just a piece of paper, but it's important to me. I need that...yun..."
Puwedeng sabihin na bravery din yun on her part?
"Yeah, there was a time na financially, I wasn't okay. I'm just lucky na okey yung Dad ko and everything. Nasanay din ako na I have my own money. Pero naisip ko naman, at least natapos na ‘ko at ngayon, ready na ako ulit to work."
Dugtong pa niya, "Feeling ko nga, mas okey. Kasi, mas naa-appreciate ko ang production staff and everything because I was employed as a regular employee.
"Kaya kapag may mga tao akong nakakatrabaho na nagrereklamo...I feel like, ‘God, if these people only knew,' parang...di ba? Yun, it made me a better person and I appreciate things now.
"First job ko kasi, acting, so, no sense of comparisons. Kaya yun, sobrang I value them."
MARRYING PHASE IS PAST. Napa-"Excuse me!" siya at natatawang sabi na, "Anong akala mo sa akin?!" nang sabihin ng PEP na those days na nag-lie-low siya, we thought, puro lovelife lang ang inatupag niya.
