Bunny, who attended Cheska Garcia's wedding last Thursday, was interviewed by The Buzz to get her side on Mo's reaction concerning their daughter Moira's medical condition. Mo, who reportedly got mad at Bunny's earlier TV interview with The Buzz, aired his sentiments on Showbiz Central (read related article ).
Last Sunday, October 12, Bunny sat as a guest in The Buzz opposite host Ruffa Gutierrez. Ruffa, who revealed that Bunny was engaged to a Fil-American named Tom from Hawaii, asked Bunny about him.
"Oh my gosh, it was such a romantic proposal," Bunny gushed. "Two years na kami. We've been going out for two years and he is stepping in and really taking care of Moira and then, he took me to a lake in San Bernardino. May telescope doon and we were looking up in the sky. So, we were looking at planets and constellations. But, pagtingin ko sa loob ng telescope, imbes na stars and planets ang nakita ko, e, ang nakita ko ay ‘Will you marry me?'"
"Ang cute!" Ruffa exclaimed.
"Sabi ko pa, ‘Oh, ‘Bakit hindi stars ang nakikita ko? Pagtingin ko nakaluhod na siya."
Ruffa asked, "Did you know when you met Tom na siya na ang lalake para sa buhay mo?"
"You know, it felt tama, everything." Bunny answered. She then joked, "Kasi, he's very patient and hindi siya nagta-Tagalog, so ‘pag nagagalit ako, e, English, so kaunti na lang galit ko!"
So when's the wedding?
"I want here sana because Shar is here," replied Bunny. Shar is Sharmaine Arnaiz, her sister.
How about Tom and Moira, are they getting along quite well?
"Sobra," answered Bunny, "siya ang nagdadala kay Moira sa activities niya like swimming and karate. Kailangan may activities all the time. Sobrang parang dad na talaga. He's also willing to adopt her in the future."
How is Bunny and Mo's relationship, by the way?
"Kay Moira, close siya," Bunny said. "Hindi talaga kami masyado nag-uusap. Siguro one of the things is that we started off mali. Long time ago, umalis ako at matagal kaming naghiwalay. And then, we're trying to rekindle kung ano man ang meron. I try na kausapin siya, yun lang, hindi consistent."
"Pero si Mo," Ruffa followed, "is galit na galit sa iyo at nakapagbitiw siya ng masasakit na salita kasi nagpa-interview ka daw sa TV at pinag-usapan ang condition ni Moira which is ayaw niya. Ano masasabi mo dito?"
"Kasi mali naman sinasabi niya to begin with, because wala naman akong sinabing hindi maganda," Bunny explained. "At hindi naman ako nagpatawag ng interview. Parang sinasabi niya, ‘She called her interviewers.' Sino ba naman ako para magtawag ng interviewers, di ba? Tinawagan ko at klinarify ko. Dito naman galing ang news at hindi doon [U.S.]"
Since she got back, has Bunny come face to face with Mo?
"Hindi pa, pero nag-text ako sa kanya kasi I was asking if he wants to go with me to look for a venue for Moira's tenth birthday," answered Bunny.
Does she have any message to Mo?
"Ayaw nga niya ng ganito, e, yung mga message-message," laughed Bunny. "Sabihin ko na lang sa kanya na, ‘Mo, tawagan mo naman ako. Pag-usapan natin [ang] birthday ni Moira if you wanna be there.' ‘Pag nandito si Moira, sana you spend more time kasi two months siya nandito. Sabi ni Moira, three times lang kayo nagkita, lunch-lunch lang. Sana, more of the quality time. And, sana tumawag ka naman sa kanya o kaya mag-email. Try mo i-practice naman yun."
