May lalabas na sexy calendar ang hunk na si Alfred Vargas bago matapos ang taon. Kung matatandaan, naglabas ng coffeetable book si Alfred about two years ago at naging instant hit ito sa mga mahihilig sa sexy na litrato ng mga artista. Due to insistent public demand daw kaya maglalabas muli ng bagong sexy pictorial si Alfred.
Kung masusunod ang timetable, dapat ngayong October ay natapos na ang pictorial ni Alfred na kukunan ng ace photographer na si Ronnie Salvacion. Nang makausap ng PEP si Alfred sa isang taping day ng Dyesebel, winika nito na nakatakda pa sila silang mag-location hunting bago simulan ang pictorial.
Ayon kay Alfred, November ang target release ng calendar na sponsored ng Walker Underwear, kung saan image model ang aktor. May iba't ibang concept muli ang mga photos na kukunan kay Alfred kaya tiyak na pag-uusapan na naman ang calendar na ito, in the same way na pumatok ang ginawa niyang coffeetable book. Bukod sa calendar, may kasama rin itong poster.
Happy si Alfred sa naging participation niya sa Dyesebel bilang Erebus dahil maganda raw ang kanyang role. Dahil sa series na ito na magtatapos ngayong gabi, lalo siyang napalapit daw sa publiko. Isa raw ito sa mga paborito niyang shows sa GMA-7, tulad ng mga past projects niya na Encantadia at ang afternoon soap na Muli. Kaya lang ay malungkot din siya dahil matatapos na ang Dyesebel.
Pero may next project na raw siya sa GMA-7. Hindi naman daw siya pinapabayaan ng Kapuso network. Hindi pa nga lang niya puwedeng sabihin kung anong project ito dahil inaayos pa.
Plano ni Alfred na magbakasyon para makapag-recharge naman at manonood siya ng laban ni Manny Pacquiao kay Oscar dela Hoya sa Las Vegas sa December. Naglalaan na nga siya ng perang kanyang gagastusin para sa kanyang trip.
"Hindi naman ako magtatagal doon. Gusto ko lang mapanood ang laban ni Pacquiao," sabi ni Alfred. Napanood din niya noon ang matagumpay na boxing match ni Pacquiao kay Marco Antonio Barrera.
"Magandang laban ito para kay Pacquiao kasi this is the biggest fight of his career," sabi pa ni Alfred.
Basta may oras siya, pinupuntahan ni Alfred ang kanyang vegetable farm sa Sta. Maria, Bulacan. Kung hindi man siya makapunta pagkatapos ng taping, he makes it a point na pumunta every Sunday. Nakatakda siyang mag-harvest ngayong October at kausap na siyang buyer ng mga produkto ng kanyang farm tulad ng okra, amplaya at talong.

"Medyo mahirap lang magtanim kapag ulan nang ulan. Pero kapag maganda naman ang panahon, madali lang para sa mga farmers ko ang magtanim."
Bukod sa Dyesebel, napapanood din si Alfred sa afternoon soap na Una Kang Naging Akin at sa gag show na Nuts Entertainment.
