Mainit pa ring pinag-uusapan ang suspension ni Cristy Fermin sa programang The Buzz at sa radio program nito sa dzMM na Showbiz Mismo. Ang suspension ng pamunuan ng ABS-CBN ay bunsod ng paglabag ng batikang kolumnista sa ilang probisyong nakasaad sa kanyang kontrata bilang host ng Sunday entertainment talk show at anchor ng kanyang programa sa radyo.
Kanina, October 20, nagkaroon ng pagkakataon ang PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) na mabisita ang taping ng Boy & Kris, ang daily morning show nina Boy Abunda at Kris Aquino. During the break, nakausap namin si Boy at hiningan namin siya ng reaksiyon hinggil sa suspension ng co-host niya sa The Buzz na si Cristy.
"Nalulungkot," sambit ng TV host.
Aware ba siya na masususpinde si Cristy kanilang sa talk show?
Sagot ni Kuya Boy, wala raw siyang kaalam-alam na mangyayari ‘yon. Dagdag niya, "Nalaman ko lang, may nagsabi sa akin sa news."
Nagkausap na ba sila nang personal mula nang ibinaba ang suspension kay Cristy?
"Nag-text lang ako, hindi ko kaya," malungkot na saad ng TV host.
Nagsampa na rin ng reklamo sa Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) si Nadia Montenegro at iimbestigahan na raw ng ahensiya kung may nilabag nga ang The Buzz sa kanilang alituntunin. Matatandaang sa October 5 episode ng The Buzz ay live na nagpahayag ng kanyang saloobin si Cristy laban kay Nadia, kung saan binanggit ni Cristy na may anak diumano sa labas si Nadia.
"Dinig ko lang. Pero wala akong official statement from MTRCB. Dinig ko lang na nagreklamo nga si Nadia."
Isiniwalat ni Cristy sa kanyang mga kolum sa diyaryo na dalawang beses daw siyang "nabastos" sa sarili niyang programa. At masama ang loob ng batikang kolumnista sa pangyayaring ‘yon. Ayon naman sa pamunuan ng The Buzz, ipinaalam nila kay Cristy ‘yon bago iniere.
Ano ang masasabi ni Boy tungkol dito?
"You know, I can't speak on their behalf. Ang masasabi ko lang, at sinabi ko ‘to sa [The] Buzz kahapon, ang dami kong tanong na walang sagot. May mga sagot na lalo lang dumadami ang mga tanong ko. It is wise in a certain point in our life not to say much when you don't know much."
Patuloy ni Boy, "Pero nalulungkot ako, nasasaktan ako, kasi kaibigan ko si Cristinelli. I'm sad, she's a friend, di ba? Pero di ako magkukunwaring napakarami nang alam at opinion, di ba?"
Samantala, sa teaser ng The Buzz ay may isa raw "magbabalik" sa programa sa susunod na Linggo, October 26. Sa last part ng taping ng isang episode ng Boy & Kris, nakapagbiro si Kris ng "See you on Sunday!" na tinawanan naman ni Boy. Kaya natanong din namin ang TV host kung si Kris ba ang tinutukoy na magbabalik sa show ng Kapamilya network.
"No, I don't know," sagot niya. "I'm going to meet the management [this Wednesday], not about Kris, but about the show. Hindi ko alam ang mga plano. Gusto kong marinig mismo sa mga tao."
