Alicia Mayer gave birth to a healthy baby boy last September. Although she gave details about her delivery, she remained mum when Startalk asked about the father. Alicia also said she will no longer pose sexy for the animal rights group PETA, now that she's a mom.

Alicia Mayer gave birth to a healthy young boy last September 29 at the Medical City. Alicia and her non-showbiz boyfriend decided to call the baby Caliph Elijah. The sexy vegetarian joyfully talks about her delivery.

 

"Sabi nga nila doon, medyo malaki para sa normal pero talagang pinilit ko," related Alicia, "'tapos sabi ng doctor, kung hindi pa daw lalabas, e, kailangan i-CS [caesarean section] na! sabi ko, ‘Ayoko ng CS!' at umiyak talaga ako noon."

 

Fortunately, the baby was delivered normally and Alicia was very happy. As she said to Startalk, "Noong nakita ko na tinaas na yung paa, naalala ko yung napanood mo sa palabas, ganoon at iba pala talaga yung pakiramdam sa totoong buhay. I am very happy talaga and I feel complete! Ito na yung time na pinakaaabang ng isang babae—ang magkaanak."

 

So who's the lucky dad?

 

"Basta may ama ang anak ko," laughed Alicia. "Private person lang siya at ayaw niya na nada-drag siya kasi hindi naman siya showbiz." However, Alicia did mention that the father exclaimed that his first reaction on seeing his child was, "Ang guwapu-guwapo niya!"

 

"Kamukha niya talaga," Alicia said of her son resembling his father. "Lahat ng features sa daddy talaga."

 

Now that Alicia and her lover have a baby, would marriage soon take place?

 

"Siyempre we have plans for the future," Alicia said. "Pero for now, gusto muna namin na maging tahimik muna ang personal relationship namin. We'll just leave it like that for now."

 

For now, what's important is the baby's christening this November or December. "Siyempre mga ninong, ninang... Si Gladys Guevarra, si Maureen Larrazabal, si Cesar Montano, si Bayani Agbayani," Alicia added.

 

Alicia revealed that it would be two to three months before she returns to circulation. But she won't do any more sexy pictorials, like the ones she did for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).

 

"Pero if we are about to take photos again, e, siguro hindi na ako magpapakuha ng ganoon kasi siyempre iba na," Alicia said. "For my baby and my family."
