TV Ratings (Nov. 4-6): Kapuso shows still rule Mega Manila ratings

Three GMA-7 shows occupied the top spot in the primetime race the last three days (November 4 to 6): Survivor Philippines, Gagambino, and La Lola.
The daytime race, on the other hand, was ruled by Kapuso afternoon soaps Gaano Kadalas ang Minsan and Una Kang Naging Akin.
Based on this latest overnight ratings conducted by AGB Nielsen Philippines, GMA-7 shows clearly dominated the ratings game in Mega Manila area over closest rival, ABS-CBN.
PRIMETIME RACE. Survivor Philippines, a reality show hosted by Paolo Bediones, became the No. 1 primetime program for the first time last Tuesday, Nov. 4, by virtue of its 33.9 percent. It slightly edged out second-placer Gagambino, a fantaserye topbilled by Dennis Trillo, which got 33.8 percent.
Gagambino was followed by three other Kapuso shows—La Lola, Codename: Asero, and 24 Oras—to occupy the rest of the Top 5.
Drama series Iisa Pa Lamang, starring Claudine Barretto, was the top Kapamilya primetime show with 28.2 percent, which was good for sixth place. Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz's I Love Betty La Fea, also from ABS-CBN, came in seventh place.
GMA-7's Koreanovela My Husband's Woman took the eighth spot, while ABS-CBN's primetime news program TV Patrol World and fantaserye Dyosa grabbed the ninth and tenth spots, respectively.
Meanwhile, Gagambino and La Lola, a comedy-drama series starring Rhian Ramos and JC de Vera, tied for first place last Wednesday, November 5, with identical 32.8 percent rating.
Richard Gutierrez's Codename: Asero came in second with 31.8 percent, followed by 24 Oras (30.9 percent), Survivor Philippines (30.2 percent), and My Husband's Woman (29.5 percent).
Iisa Pa Lamang and I Love Betty La Fea maintained their sixth and seventh positions with 26.1 percent and 23.9 percent, respectively.
Occupying the rest of the Top 10 are Dyosa, GMA-7 game show Family Feud, and TV Patrol World.
Gagambino took the solo lead last night, November 6, with 37.5 percent—its highest rating, so far.
24 Oras climbed to second place with 35.6 percent while Codename: Asero dropped to third place with 34.8 percent. La Lola and Survivor Philippines grabbed the fourth and fifth spots.
Although still at sixth place, Iisa Pa Lamang tied with My Husband's Woman after getting an identical 28.3 percent rating. Dyosa and I Love Betty La Fea also tied at seventh place with 27.9 percent.
Richard Gomez's Family Feud took the No. 8 slot, followed by TV Patrol World and Kris Aquino's ABS-CBN game show Kapamilya, Deal Or No Deal.
Iisa Pa Lamang will bid farewell tonight and will be replaced be the reality show Pinoy Fear Factor.
DAYTIME RACE. GMA-7 soaps Gaano Kadalas ang Minsan and Una Kang Naging Akin took turns in occupying the top in the daytime race. Gaano Kadalas ang Minsan was on top Tuesday and Thursday while Una Kang Naging Akin was the leader Wednesday.
Gaano Kadalas ang Minsan—which starred Marvin Agustin, Camille Prats, and Diana Zubiri—ended its run earlier today. It will be replaced by Saan Darating ang Umaga?, starring Yasmien Kurdi and Lani Mercado, beginning Monday, November 10.
Other daytime programs consistently figuring in the Top 10 are GMA-7's Eat Bulaga!, Daisy Siete, Rosalinda, and SiS; and the following shows from ABS-CBN: Wowowee, El Cuerpo del Deseo, Pieta, and Pilipinas, Game KNB?.
