"May dalawang tseke daw ako sa mag-asawang Cathy at Leon Tan at may tseke din si Jen sa kanila. Pinabulaanan naming dalawa ni Jen na sa amin galing ang text messages. Pinabulaanan din namin na meron kaming na-issue na mga tseke sa kanila. Sinabihan namin sina Ms. C, Cathy, at Leon na naisahan kaming lahat ni Mel.

"Regarding Jen, according to Ms. C, aside from Jen's text messages, nakausap pa raw ni Ms. C sa cellphone si Jen. Nag-MMS pa ng pictures ni Jazz. In-inform namin sila na those texts messages came from Mel's personal cellphone number na gamit niya sa agency. The Smart SIM number is Jennylyn's line but that line was turned over to Mel personally more than a year ago.

"Jen requested that time to Mel na ipa-assume muna sa agency ang Smart line na ‘yan to cut cost on her expenses since she has her own Smart line naman. Former owner of the Smart line was Tita Lydia [Mercado, Jen's mom]. Pinasa ni Mel kay Cecile [Bordo], my former secretary. When Cecile resigned last December 2007, she turned it over to Mel and ever since then, si Mel na ang may hawak ng Smart line na ‘yan.

"Never niyang binitawan o pinahiram that cellphone to any co-staff in the agency. That Smart cellphone number became one of Mel's personal and official cellphone number. According to Ms. C, paano raw nagawa ni Mel ang mag-text at ipakita din sa kanya ang text ni Jen at the same time samantalang di naman nagte-text si Mel habang kausap niya? At nakausap daw niya si Jen, though di niya kabisado ang boses nito.

"Palagi kong sinasabihan si Mel na maghinay-hinay lang sa paggamit ng smart cellphone line na ‘yan because palagi siyang nag-o-over sa budget allocated for that line.

"Wala naman masyadong talent bookings para lumagpas pa siya sa budget nito. Ganun pa man, ang agency pa rin ang nagbabayad ng Smart line na ito. Kaya pala ang laki ng Smart bill dahil  kung saan-saan niya ito ginagamit at madalas siyang nagpapadala ng MMS kung kani-kanino, pati sa akin.

"Regarding sa pictures ni Jazz, ayaw nga namin ni Jen na kumalat ang pictures ng bata because we were reserving those pictures sana sa coffee table book ni Jen. Si Mel ang mahilig mag-send ng MMS pictures ni Jazz. For everyone's information, twice ko pa lang nakikita si Jazz in person. Di rin ako marunong magpadala ng MMS.

Nagalit si Jen upon learning na pinagkakalat pala thru MMS ang pictures ni Jazz. Sinabihan niya sina Ms. C at husband, at mag-asawang Cathy at Leon na wala siyang utang sa mga ito, wala siyang tsekeng pinirmahan para sa kanila at pasensiya na dahil hindi naman niya ito mga kakilala.

"First time ko naman na-meet si Ms. C at ang asawa niya. Kakilala ko ang mag-asawang Leon at Cathy. Mga talent suppliers sila sa agency ko dati nung nasa GMA pa ako. Matagal na panahon na kaming walang communication. Taon na ang binilang at sinabihan ko silang mag-asawa na di naman kami close para hiraman ko sila.

"At wala namang purpose para humiram ako sa kanila. Pinagsabihan ko sila na bakit sinikreto nila sa amin ang transaction ni Mel sa kanila. Pinagbilin daw kasi ni Mel na huwag na huwag nilang sasabihin sa amin ni Jen."

BECKY'S RECOLLECTION. May idadagdag ba siya sa statement ni Mel mula October 6 to 9 na kung saan ay nabulgar ang problema? May gusto siyang liwanagin?

"October 6, I woke up early at 6:00 a.m. Left the house with my twin daughters at 7:00 a.m. and drove them to school. Arrived at U.S. Embassy at 8:30 a.m. Between 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 n.n., I was at the U.S. Embassy with Angel [Locsion, Becky's ward] and Winnie [Mariano] for the ASAP Guam Visa.

"When Angel and Winnie left, I fetched Katrina [Aguila, daughter of Becky] at Goldilocks in front of UST before 1:00 p.m. and we waited for Bianca at Goldilocks at around 2:00 p.m. para sabay na kaming umuwi. Nag-take out ako ng pansit palabok and cake. Left Goldilocks at around 3:00 p.m. We arrived home around 3:40 p.m. Going back to Goldilocks at past 1:00 p.m.

"While waiting for Bianca, naisipan kong tawagan si Mel because she has been sending me repeated blank MMS. I told her to stop sending me MMS thru the Smart line because magastos at sana magtipid naman siya sa paggamit nito. Siguro in a day and every day for the past two weeks since October 6, I would be receiving around 10 to 15 MMS, na blangko naman. Sira daw cellphone niya kaya nagloloko ang MMS niya.

"Naawa naman ako sa sinabi niya kaya I offered to give her my extra cellphone in the house, when I get home. But when I got home, pinakuha na niya pala ang cellphone ko sa kasama ko sa bahay ng di niya ipinaalam sa akin.Ang sabi ko sa sarili ko, pinangunahan na naman niya ako.

"Prior sa conversation namin over the cellphone, I haven't been talking to Mel for some time now coz galit pa ako sa ginawa niya sa agency ko. Mahal ko naman si Mel. She's been with my talent agency for six years. Nagalit lang ako sa kanya because may mga bagay ako na napapansin na nangyayari sa agency ko kaya nga I hired an accountant to monitor and oversee my agency's finances.

"I didn't go to the office and I didn't see Mel the whole day. I called up Bing and asked about Mel. According to Bing, umuwi na because masakit daw ang ulo at batok. I tried calling her but she didn't answer my calls. I wanted to ask her why she got my extra cellphone without waiting for me. But she didn't answer my calls. So, I slept after that because I was really tired and sleepy. I woke up past 7:00 p.m. na. I tried calling Mel again at around 9:00 p.m., but both cellphones were off.

"That night, since she didn't reply to my text messages because naka-off nga cellphone niya, I texted her that I don't like unprofessionals. I texted her also that she should keep her cellphone open for communication for emergency and other concerns. Di siya nag-reply.

"October 7, I woke up at 10:00 a.m. I called Mel in both cellphones, still unattended. Tried their land phone, no answer. Texted her kung papasok ba siya, no reply. Called Tony [Anonuevo], a common friend of ours, at around 12:00 p.m. if tumawag si Mel sa kanya, wala pa raw. Requested him to check Mel. I was worried na baka nadisgrasya or something wrong had happened. Requested Tony to forward Ronnie's cell number. Ronnie is the husband of Mel. No reply either.

"After a while, nag-text si Tony na may sakit daw si Mel. LBM and she's been vomiting according daw kay Ronnie. After a few minutes, nag-text si Mel and her text message was, ‘Tita nasa dentist po ako.'
