Willie Revillame has been very forthright about the story of his life. As the face of the controversial daily noontime show Wowowee, the guy who entered the business as a drummer has given us more than a glimpse of his not-usually-trouble-free world.
But just when we thought we've heard it all, YES! magazine published a tell-all feature, which had Willie tackling the issues and controversies that continue to hound his public image.
The January issue uncovers the various facets of his life, including the myths surrounding the man fondly referred to by his loyal followers as "Papi." The 48-page feature was the result of an exhausting no-holds-barred interview that clocked in, as accurately stated by associate editor Anna Pingol, "seven one-hour back-to-back macro cassette audiotapes."
Willie said during his interview, "Hindi ako graduate ng college. I'm just a drummer. Ang buhay ko, ang daming pinagdaanan—stampede, sexual harassment, kesyo nambugbog ng anak, asawa ko...ninakawan ko daw si Princess [Punzalan, his first wife], hinuthutan...pero at the end, lumabas din naman ang totoo."
On top of these, the popular host also showed his lavish homes, including his two yachts and six of his eleven luxury vehicles, all vividly captured in a series of photos.
YES! IT'S SOLD OUT. The public's fascination with Willie, even in print, was validated by the newsstand sales report of YES! to date.
According to Danio Caw, Summit Publishing Inc. team publisher for entertainment, the said issue had a reprint of 10,000 copies over the weekend. But the growing clamor, combined with Willie's persistent on-air promotion, prompted a second reprint of 15,000.
Summit publisher Aurora Mangubat-Suarez confirmed this via an email: "We have made the decision to reprint an additional 15,000 copies which will be released on January 10. TOTAL CIRCULATION FOR YES! January issue is a whopping 160,000 [135,000 initial order + 10,000 first reprint + 15,000 second reprint]."
PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) also learned that this is a first in the magazine's eight-year history.

GO GO PAPI.....hayaan mo na ang mga naninira sayo....naaliw nga ang mga in-laws ko sayo....inaabangan ka nila lagi pag tanghali

God provide everything for our needs, but not for the greedy.
People get status symbols bcoz they have a lot of money or they want it to seem like they do.
Having a lot of extra money means you are greed -this is ALWAYS true bcoz even if you just got lucky and inherited it, it's greedy to keep what you don't need-.
So isn't having a lot of status symbols just showing off a negative quality of yourself - greed?
example of status symbols: fancy cars, extra-huge houses filled with space you dont use, brand names...etc
JUST ASKING.
Kung ano man ang meron sya ngayon, bunga yan ng pinaghirapan nya at hindi pangongorap tulad ng ibang officials sa pinas. Sobra ka naman mag salita.
