Isang malaking tagumpay ang naganap na premiere night ng pelikulang When I Met U ng GMA Films at Regal Entertainment kagabi, February 10, sa Cinemas 9 and 10 ng SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City. Ang When I Met U ang ikalawang pelikula nina KC Concepcion at Richard Gutierrez.
Pagkatapos ng premiere sa SM Megamall, nagkaroon ng after party ang buong cast sa Hierarchy bar sa The Fort, Taguig City. Doon ay tuloy pa rin ang lambingan nina KC at Richard na tila wala silang ibang kasama dahil sa walang katapusang yakapan, bulungan, at panakaw-nakaw na halik sa isa't isa.
PINAGBIYAK NA BUNGA. Masayang-masaya si KC dahil katabi niya sa premiere night ang kanyang ama na si Gabby Concepcion. Throughout the showing of the film ay magkawahak-kamay ang mag-ama at panay ang bulong ni Gabby kay KC na kamukhang-kamukha niya ang anak.
"Nakakatawa si Papa kasi kapag naka-close-up ako sa screen, sinasabi niya na, 'Uy, kamukha kita talaga!' Tapos noong may kissing scene na kami ni Chard, sinabi ni Papa na, 'Parang ako yata yung hinahalikan ni Richard!'" malakas na tawa ni KC nang makausap siya ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
Patuloy niya, "But I am so happy that my papa was able to make it. I know that he has so many things to do, but he promised na makakarating siya, no matter what. He doesn't want to miss daw the premiere night of my second movie with Chard."
MEGASTAR MISSES PREMIERE. Marami naman ang nanghinayang na hindi nakadalo ang ina ni KC na si Sharon Cuneta. Pero ayon kay KC, matagal na raw na nagpaalam ang kanyang ina at ang kanyang stepfather na si Senator Kiko Pangilinan na may importanteng lakad sila out of town. Naintindihan naman daw 'yon ni KC.
"Wala namang problema sa akin because naka-schedule talaga 'yon. Nagkataon na sumabay siya sa premiere night. Sabi nga ni Mommy na she really wanted to be at the premiere night, pero talagang committed na siya sa lakad na 'yon with my dad, Senator Kiko. Nag-promise naman sila na we will all watch the movie sa opening nito. Kahit ilang beses pa raw nilang panoorin just to make it up to me," paliwanag ni KC.
Ni-reveal din ni KC na nagbabalak ulit ang kanyang ina at si Senator Kiko na magkaroon ng baby ulit.
"They are planning it and I am praying that God will bless our family with a new family member," sabi ni KC. "Matagal na nilang pinag-uusapan 'yan and they've finally decided to give it a try. Kaya I'm really praying for it to happen."
THIRD TEAM-UP. Matatagalan naman daw bago masundan ulit ng panibagong pelikula ang tambalang KC at Richard. Pero naniniwala si KC na darating ang panahon na muli silang pagsasamahin.
"Ayoko ngang isipin na this will be our last. Magkakaroon lang kami ng break from one another because we'll be doing different projects. Hopefully, we can do another one very soon.
"It's been a wonderful experience to have worked with Chard in two movies. Wala na akong mahihiling pa siguro. Nasabi ko nga sa kanya na mami-miss ko siya, but we will always be in touch with another. Yun ang hindi mawawala sa aming dalawa," pagtatapos ni KC.
