The launch of the Ploning Foundation at the Dolce Bar in Quezon City last February 22, doubled as a thanksgiving party since it served as a way for Panoramanila Pictures Co. to thank all the people who helped their film during the past year. Even though Ploning did not enter the Top 9 of the Best Foreign Language Film category of the 81st Academy Awards—which was won by Japan's Departures—the filmmakers were grateful that they had been given the chance to represent the Philippines abroad.
Director Dante Nico Garcia revealed that, in fact, his directorial debut has been invited to the 2009 Newport Beach Film Festival.
During this late-night event, Alfie Lorenzo expressed his disappointment with his ward Judy Ann Santos, the star of the movie Ploning. He said that even though he is still the manager of Juday, he felt that he was being bypassed since Judy Ann and her fiancé Ryan Agoncillo did not inform him properly about their wedding plans.
So maybe he's thinking na itsapuwere siya.
Reports say that Mommy Carol also got mad since she seems to be the last to know about the couple's plans.
Kasi parang nakalagay dun sa column na bridal car talaga yung susundo sa kanya, so I had to assure her that there is really no planning, wala pang specifications.
NO TV COVERAGE. Juday also verified PEP's report that she and Ryan will not allow ABS-CBN or GMA-7 to cover their wedding. (Click HERE to learn more details about the wedding.)
"Definitely ilalabas namin yung wedding, pero yung coverage won't come from either network. It will come from us," declares Juday.
Why did they not agree to TV coverage?
"Kasi gusto namin ng private wedding," she says simply.
Some people speculate that they are keeping the wedding plans a secret because she might run away just like Julia Robert's character in the movie Runaway Bride. Is she afraid of exchanging wedding vows with Ryan?
Juday says with a hearty laugh.
TITO ALFIE'S ROLE. When Judy Ann becomes a married woman, does it mean that her soon-to-be-husband Ryan will have a say regarding the projects that she will accept in the future?
Of course, hindi.
You have to consider a lot of things, a lot of people, and not all these people will really understand, so ngayon sinasabayan ko na lang ng dasal because alam kong one way or another may sasama ang loob sa amin."
When PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) caught up with Ryan later that night, we asked his role in Judy Ann's projects when they become husband and wife.

Isa kang magandang ehemplo Juday!! Love you more for being like that!!!
