Sunshine Dizon gets bombarded with questions from the hosts of Showbiz Central in the "Intriga Crossfire" segment. She tackles the questions about her new house, financial issues, and plans on entering politics.
Pia Guanio asked, "We all know that you have political plans, and pretty soon tatakbo ka. Do you have a specific position in mind?"
Sunshine pointed out first that it was her dream, but she doesn't have any plan to join the political bandwagon yet. "Probably in the future, but not any time soon."
If ever she does join and if she wins, what difference would Sunshine make for the country?
"Kahit hindi naman tumakbo sa politika, e, puwede tumulong," she answered. "Putting up schools, putting up charity institutions for kids, and teaching people to have a livelihood... things like that. Magtulungan tayo para umahon naman bansa natin."
Pia asked a different question. "I was just wondering, bakit wala ka pa rin boyfriend?"
"Let's just put it this way," began Sunshine, "siguro hindi ko pa suwerte. I just accepted the fact that there are a lot of things I have to focus on...you can be inspired by many things. Hindi naman kailangan may boyfriend para maging masaya. At the end of the day, importante pa rin ang pamilya."
And then Raymond Gutierrez took his turn. He asked, "Sinasabi ng critics na you are a TV star but not a movie star. Kahit sunud-sunod ang TV projects, e, sinasabi nila na hindi ka movie star. What is your say on this?"
Sunshine shrugged and said, "I cannot blame them because I have to admit na I haven't been doing much work for movies. Actually, the last na lumabas was Mulawin: The Movie."
"Ako na!" Mo brightly said when he saw that Raymond was contented with Sunshine's answer. "Back to politics, since lumalapit na mga political parties sa iyo para i-court ka na tumakbo ka, are you pro- or anti-administration?"
"I'd rather not take sides as of the moment," said Sunshine. "Because to be clear again, I'm not running any time soon. I have to weigh my options. Hindi ko naman masabi."
To get a more direct answer from Sunshine, Mo changed his question with: "Are you happy with how the country is being run?"
"Siguro katulad ng mas nakakarami, e, siyempre hindi ako masaya," Sunshine said.
John was the last to question Sunshine: "Ni-lipo ka ba ni Doc [Manny] Calayan?"
"From the very beginning I never denied it naman, hindi ba? Inamin ko naman na ni-lipo ako," admitted Sunshine. "Puwede nang magbawas, huwag lang magdagdag."
