PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) received a copy of the official statement of ABS-CBN, through its Corporate Communications department, about the complaint of Mrs. Nena Santos—who granted an exclusive interview with PEP staff writer Nerisa Almo—on the prize that she won in the "Bigtime Pera O Bayong" segment of the noontime show Wowowee. Here is the official statement of ABS-CBN:

"To date, issues raised by Mrs. Nena Santos, winner of a house & lot in Wowowee's "Bigtime Pera O Bayong" have been clarified and resolved.

"In the March 3, 2009 episode of Wowowee, Mrs. Santos went on air and Willie apologized for the delay in the turnover of her house and lot caused by miscommunication. Willie personally promised Mrs. Santos that the house will be fully furnished.

"On air, Mrs. Santos expressed her gratitude to Wowowee and Globe Asiatique for the help extended."
