My deepest sympathy goes for the Magalona family. I grew up listening to Francis way back during my high skul dayz sa pinas in the early 90s. I admit his song Mga Praning helped me through some tough times sa pinas and I will leave it to that. Also, my favs are Mga Kababayan, Man from Manila and most of all, Cold Summer Nights. It brings me way back to my greater years. You will always be remembered Idol Kiks. Take care up there!!

I think Pia is smiling becoz shes in a way happy that Francis' pain has finally come to an end.It was her who had seen it all,and I think sa dami ng frnds ni Francis,di cla pababayaan nung mga yun.Pia knows so well she has to put on her strongest face for her children,kung bibigay sya pano pa mga anak nila...ang lungkot tlga pramis.

initially, masakit isipin na after all the struggles na pinagdaanan ng victim and the family, mauuwi lang pala lahat sa wala. selfish thinking but eventually, I entertained the fact that He alone has the supreme dominion over life and death. And that's too comforting thought that would really help us all embrace the reality of this earthly journey we are having.

I think they knew from the start na Francis will eventually die of his illness,they just wanted to extend his lyf.Ganyan din kmi when my mom was diagnosed w/ cancer.Alam mo mwwla din sya pero u keep that little hope that a miracle might happen.Kwwa nman yun maliliiit pa nyang anak,buti na lng yun malalaki na matitino.Ang bait din ni Mr. Tony Tuviera noh,he gave financial help to Francis pala.Most likely yun ibang ksma din nya sa Eat Bulaga tumulong sa knya financially,lalo na C Vic Sotto,takbuhan yan ng mga pamilya ng mga dati nyang ksma na-oospital.Ang sad tlga ng news na 'to.

this interview is so heart wrenching. really. im in tears reading it and minsan nilalagpasan ko na yung ibang words, kasi masakit talaga mawalan ng isang kapamilya. i pray for his family to have strength. he achieved so much in only 44 yrs. he lived a full life.

pia you've showed great courage amidst all that francis was going through. it was more than enough to keep his faith alive. i know how hard it is to be sick like that and it really helps to have a partner who goes through the journey of suffering of the patient. he is now with his master and it was his time to rest. God wanted him to rest na for good, so he can't feel any pain anymore and francis can look over all of u from heaven everyday. keep him in your heart forever. my mom died 23 years ago but til now i still dream about her. she is not dead, rather she is in my heart all the time.

FrancisM's gave his own remarkable contribution in the Philippine Music scene.

Nakakalungkot, Oo, pero, mas ang nakakahanga, dahil si francis bilang the 'Pinoy Master Rapper', may legacy na siyang iniwan. At ang tagumpay niyang iyon ang dapat na binibigyan ng emphasis.

ang ganda ng tribute ng ASAP'09 para kay FrancisM kanina. mas na-appreciate ko pang lalo ang mga masterpieces nyang 'mga kababayan ko' at 'kaleidoscope world'. it was, indeed, moving.
