Ang Showbiz Central co-host na si Raymond Gutierrez ang isa sa controversial celebrities nitong nakaraang linggo. Ito ay dahil sa "kissing video" nila ng young actress na si Carla Humpries noong nasa Lago del Ray, Camarines Sur sila.

Bilang co-host ng Sunday showbiz talk show ng GMA-7, natural lang na magbigay ng kanyang pahayag si Raymond sa mismong show niya.

"You know, I think, last week, the earlier part of the week was a slow news week that's why lumaki ang isyung ito, because walang masyadong news," umpisa niya.

Pero kinontra ito agad ng co-host niya na si John "Sweet" Lapus. Ayon kay Sweet, big star at celebrity naman daw si Raymond kaya anything ay magiging news talaga. And Mo Twister added na may video nga raw kasi.

Dugtong naman ni Sweet, isang bagay na gusto nilang bigyang linaw ni Raymond ay ang lumalabas na balita na may consent naman ang naturang video at alam daw niya yun.

"Of course not!" tanggi ni Raymond. "The cameramen were asked to leave on certain hours. After the games, there was an after-party. And after a certain hours, the cameras were asked to leave. But then, the TV crews hesitated and they shot it paparazzi style. And it's kinda lame that I'm talking about it now because I don't find it a big deal.

"You know, Carla and I, we're really good friends and we've known each other for years. We arrived there together, so, of course, we're gonna be together till the after party."

Ayon naman kay Mo, it's just kissing and there's nothing obscene about it.

Pero ang tanong ng marami ay kung sino Carla sa buhay ni Raymond. Are they more than friends? Girlfriend ba niya si Carla?

"She's not my girlfriend, but she's very dear to me," sagot ni Raymond. "She's very close to me. Like I've said, she's a very sweet girl and we communicate almost every day. At kilala ko ang pamilya niya at kilala siya ng family ko."

Si Carla ay alaga na ngayon ng ina ni Raymond na si Annabelle Rama.

Ang tanong naman ni Mo, si Carla lang ba ang bukod-tanging kaibigan niya na hinahalikan niya ng ganoon?

"What do you mean?" Raymond asked Mo. Mo explained kung ganoon din si Raymond with his other girl friends, like Anne Curtis.

"We don't go around kissing, you know what I mean? But I actually want to clear one thing because I don't actually find this thing a big deal. Personally, you know, it wasn't a big deal to me. But there was just something that came up this week that raised my attention, actually, got my attention. The fact that there's an article that came out insinuating na I was on drugs daw," sabi ni Raymond.

Sinegundahan ito ni Sweet na isa rin daw yun sa gusto niyang itanong kay Raymond, kung totoo bang aside from being drunk, was he also on drugs?
