"Viva bossman Vic del Rosario was quick to react to a TV report that Sarah Geronimo got only P200,000 each from her blockbuster movies A Very Special Love and P300,000 for You Changed My Life.
"Boss Vic, who is Sarah's manager, explained that the P200,000 and P300,000 was the only approved amount by Star Cinema, which co-produced the two monster grossers with Viva Entertainment. 'Viva took care of paying the rest of Sarah's talent fee that Viva thought due her,' Boss Vic said.
"For the record, Boss Vic said Sarah's fee is the same as that of John Lloyd Cruz, her leading man in the two movies.
"The head honcho of Viva just can't help but get riled up over insinuations that Sarah was being paid a paltry sum despite the huge success of her movies.
"A Very Special Love grossed like P180-something million, making it
the biggest box-office hit last year. You Changed My Life fared even better, raking in at least P200 million during its three-week run.
"Sarah is on a concert tour in the US, and won't be back before until April."

I think the article says that viva took care of paying the rest of sarah's talent fee quot;that Viva thought due herquot;. So what did Viva think was due sarah? Why didn't he state it if he truly wanted to set the record straight? Do you know how much viva thinks sarah is worth? and is it appreciably more than what star cinema is willing to pay? If you have the answers please contact yes! editor directly so she can print a retraction on her article, which, I understand, she stands by at this time.

Viva took care of the REST of Sarah's TALENT FEE, kasi nga co-produced ng Viva yung movies...
