Muling bumalik ang aktor na si Dingdong Dantes sa may Pasig River sa Guadalupe, Makati lulan ng isang ferryboat, kasama ang ilang piling entertainment press, para sa unveiling ng Bench Body billboard niya kahapon, March 29. Ang naturang billboard ay nagsilbi ring summer campaign ng Bench
Tila naging trademark na ng Bench ang pagsakay sa ferryboat habang ina-unveil ang giant billboard ni Dingdong.
"Well, yun, gusto talaga nila yun. At sa akin naman, like what I said, very memorable sa akin ang spot na ito, so we're here again. Celebrating, more or less, a year of being a part of Bench family," saad ni Dingdong sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
Masaya si Dingdong na isang taon na siya halos miyembro ng Bench family.
"It's a celebration of my, more or less, first year sa Bench. This is also the same spot kung saan ako ni-launch dati, and it signifies the arrival of summer."
Kumusta naman ang pagiging image model ng Bench Body, kung saan siya talaga ang maituturing na main endorser ng line na ito ng Bench?
"Well, marami rin naman kami sa Bench Body and, you know, masaya rin naman na palaki nang palaki ang pamilya ng Bench. Basta every time I'm with the Bench people, it's fun and they make me feel very welcome. So, talagang hats-off ako sa kanilang lahat."

"Kasi, naniniwala naman ako na being... Kunwari, kung tinag ka such as ganoong klaseng term, hindi naman kailangan talaga na ipaglantaran mo yung katawan mo. It's how you carry yourself and how people perceive you, may damit o wala. Parang ganoon," paliwanag ni Dingdong.
Ayon kay Dingdong, malayo pa naman ang susunod na Bench fashion show kung kaya't hindi pa muna niya ito pinagtutuunan ng pansin.
Bilang aktor naman, nakahanda na rin ba siya sa mas daring na mga eksena sa pelikula at telebisyon?
"Kung sa makakaya, kahit ano, kaya ko," sagot niya. "If it's needed, yun ang tanong. Depende na rin sa mood ko yun, e! Ang sa akin lang, kung sakali man na maano ko yun, kung magkakaroon ng ganoon, hindi siya yung highlight kung anumang proyekto yun.
"It would be part of it, pero hindi siya yung highlight. Nagkataon din na ang daming movies na merong ganoon, pero hindi siya binibigyan ng masyadong malisya or masamang kaisipan."
May picture sa cell phone ng manager ni Dingdong na si Perry Lansigan ng actual na billboard niya sa Guadalupe. Kaya bago pa man ang actual unveiling kahapon, nakita na ng PEP at ilang TV crew ang concept ng pictorial ng aktor para sa Bench Body.
DINGDONG'S WINGS. Maganda ang concept na napili ng Bench, pero kapansin-pansin ang pakpak na suot ni Dingdong sa pictorial. Tuloy, hindi maiwasang itanong kay Dingdong kung hindi kaya pagsimulan na naman ng isyu sa pagitan nila ni Richard Gutierrez ang pakpak na yun at sabihing Mulawin-inspired ang concept nila?
"Ah, hindi," paglilinaw agad ni Dingdong. "Siyempre kung papasok man yung Mulawin, alam nating siya ang una diyan. Pakpak lang 'yan and it's part of the shoot. Pakpak lang 'yan and walang intensiyon to do something similar."
Bakit nga ba may wings ang concept ng billboard niya?
"Parte ng study 'yan, e, ng konsepto ng creative team ng Bench. Plus, marami naman kaming subject, 'yan ang pinaka-nagustuhan. Sa concept din kasi that the summer has arrived," paliwanag ng aktor.
Noong ginawa nila yung pictorial, hindi ba sumagi sa isipan nilang baka nga ma-compare?
"Hindi, kasi ang dami rin namang may pakpak dun sa Edsa. Kahit saan, may tatlo yata akong nakikitang may pakpak sa Edsa!" natatawang sabi niya.
