Based on the komiks novel of Jim Hernandez, which was turned into a movie in 1979 starring Rio Locsin, Kambal Sa Uma premiered at No. 1 yesterday, April 20, with a whopping 25.8 percent. This is based on the overnight ratings conducted by Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS) among national households.

With the entry of Kambal Sa Uma, which replaced the timeslot of Parekoy, former leaders Wowowee (23.6 percent) and Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin? (22.9 percent) slipped to second and third place, respectively.

Completing the Top 5 are Pieta and Paano Ba ang Mangarap?.

In the primetime race, family drama May Bukas Pa continues to lead, consistently generating 40-plus ratings.

GMA-7's new game show Hole In The Wall, hosted by Ogie Alcasid and Michael V as Angelina and Yaya, premiered at No. 9 with an impressive 22.2 percent; slightly edging out Pinoy Bingo Night, which posted a rating of 21.9 percent to grab the tenth spot.

The delayed telecast of the boxing match of Filipino boxers Nonito Donaire and Brian Villoria against Raul Martinez and Ulises Solis, respectively—billed as The Flash and The Furious—topped the daytime race last Sunday, April 19, with 27.9 percent.

The primetime race was ruled by Rated K.
