All eyes were on Ai-Ai delas Alas when she walked down the red carpet at SM Megamall last night, May 12, for the premiere of her new movie with Sharon Cuneta titled BFF (Best Friends Forever).
The comedienne recently admitted that she has been dating a 25-year-old Venezuelan model named Julio Cabrera. She promised to bring him to the premiere night of her film and she gladly fulfilled that vow.
Julio Cesar Cabrera Mendieta is a former boxer who represented his home country Venezuela in the 2002 edition of Mr. International. He ended up being the 1st runner-up of the competition. (Click HERE to know more about Ai-Ai's date that night.)
In an interview with Showbiz News Ngayon aired last night, May 12, Ai-Ai pointed out that she and Julio haven't been going out that long. "Hindi pa naman niya alam kung ano ako dito, e, so baka ngayon pa lang niya maintindihan kung ano ako rito sa bansa natin. Two weeks pa lang naman kami nagmi-meet."
Julio, who stands 5'11", described Ai-Ai as a nice person.
When asked if Ai-Ai often makes him laugh, the hunky model replied in halting English, "Yeah, yeah, every time she smiles she is more beautiful."
What won't he forget about Ai-Ai? The actress answered for Julio by saying, "Her beautiful face."
He nodded his head in agreement and said, "Everything! She is beautiful!"
