Turning 25 this coming May 23, masasabing malayo-layo na rin ang narating ng career ni Sam Milby in the almost four years that he's been in show business.
Maganda ang feedback ng Only You, balitang humahataw ang sales ng duet album nila ni Toni Gonzaga under Star Records, at tinatapos naman niya ang pelikulang pinagtatambalan nila ni Bea Alonzo under Star Cinema. It seems everything is going great for Sam when it comes to his career.
But when it comes to his lovelife, mukhang mailap pa para kay Sam ang anggulong ito. Open naman sila pareho ni Anne Curtis na sa kabila ng kanilang breakup ay hindi pa nawawala ang special feelings nila para sa isa't isa, pero nalagyan ng intriga ang pagpunta ng aktres sa Spain dahil mukhang nataon sa birthday ng ex-boyfriend niya.
"I don't think so, she has this plan a long time na so di naman niya sinadya, I'm sure. Kami ni Anne, we're pretty much okey now, we're friends again, mas okey ngayon and I'm happy for that."
STILL A HOTTIE. Sa nakaraang interview kay Ann sa isang ineendorso nitong produkto ay nakapagsalita raw ang aktres na si Sam pa rin ang tinuturing niyang pinakaguwapo at pinaka-hot sa lahat ng mga artista sa ABS-CBN. Agad naming hiningan ng reaksyon si Sam tungkol dito.
"Siyempre, when anybody says that, it's very flattering. Anne naman is one of the most beautiful in the business that I saw. She's definitely one of the most beautiful, no one can deny that she's one of the most beautiful faces."
Sa magandang pinatutungkol nina Sam at Anne sa isa't isa, where both admitted that they're good friends now, mas bukas daw kaya ngayon sa reconciliation ang aktor?
"I'm open for anything, sinabi ko naman na I'm ready to fall in love again but I don't look for love. Whatever happens, whatever it is, if it happens, it happens."
SWINE FLU. Sam even expressed his concern dahil nasa Spain ngayon ang ex at usung-uso pa naman ang AH1N1 flu. "Nasa Spain siya ngayon, saka mag-isa siya for two weeks, so I'm worried for her. We're friends again, I care for her and I would not want [anything] bad to happen to her."
Pero paano kaya kung sa Spain makita ni Anne ang lalaking magpapatibok muli ng kanyang puso at magiging rason para makalimutan na niya nang tuluyan si Sam?
"Then I'll be happy for her if that happens."
BIRTHDAY HOMECOMING. Ilang araw na lang ang bibilangin at 25th birthday na ni Sam. Bukod sa isang bagong Nissan car ang niregalo niya sa kanyang sarili, masaya rin ang aktor dahil uuwi dito ang kanyang Mommy at Daddy para makasama siya sa kanyang birthday.
"I'm just happy na yung anniversary nila Mommy and Daddy is on May 20, ang birthday ko is on May 23, uuwi sila dito and I'm excited to see them. My Dad went here last 1997 pa. Ito yung first time na makikita nila ang bahay ko. Baka that might be my off day. Actually di ko alam kung magtatrabaho ako sa birthday ko kasi super segue-segue talaga ako sa work ko, pero sana...
"I have gift na for myself, nasa basement na siya, it's a Nissan 350Z. Plano ko, ibebenta ko yung dati kong sasakyan kasi parang I need a van para sa mga tapings and shootings. I need a diesel van para tipid din sa gasoline."
May mga araw na pumapantay ang Only You sa taas ng ratings ng May Bukas Pa. Agad namang nagpahayag ng pasasalamat si Sam sa mga taong sumuporta at patuloy na sumusuporta sa Only You.
"Siyempre, very, very thankful kami sa mga supporters. Sa Mindanao I heard na it's so taas daw, so talagang we're very, very happy and thankful. Gusto kong magpasalamat sa lahat ng supporters namin. It's not about ratings or anything but it does make you feel good and inspired na mas pagandahin pa ninyo yung show ninyo."
