Four months pa lang si JC Tiuseco sa showbiz simula nang manalo siya sa Survivor Philippines, pero in terms of confidence, masasabing naa-achieve na nga ito ni JC. Napansin namin ito sa kanya sa huling gabi ng Sweet 16 show ni John Lapus, kunsaan isa siya sa mga special guests.
Ipinaalala namin kay JC na noong nakaraang birthday show niya kasi sa Zirkoh, kinailangan pa niyang mag-wine para lang lumakas-lakas nang konti ang loob niya. Natatawa ito nang maalala rin yun. "Oo nga! Nakailang wine rin ako nun! Pero kabado pa rin."
We told him na, this time mas confident na siyang humarap sa audience at kahit magbitiw ng adlib, nakakasabay na rin siya kay Sweet dahil ibinuko siya nitong uma-adlib siya. "Talaga? Hindi ko pa rin naramdaman," natatawa niyang biro. "Kinakabahan kasi ako kay Sweet. Baka magkamali ako, baka magalit," nakangiting sabi pa niya.
E, personal choice nga raw siya ni Sweet na maging guest. "Oo nga raw... thank you naman. Siyempre, I'm honored and flattered na isa ako sa mga napili niyang maging guest. Kita mo naman ang mga kasabay ko, Marian Rivera, big star na. Kahit si Aljur Abrenica, ang dami na nilang soap na ginawa," nakangiti pa rin niyang sabi.
SERIOUS ABOUT ACTING. Ayon kay JC, ang hosting stint sa Unang Hirit pa rin daw ang pinagkakaabalahan niya sa ngayon. Pero bukod dito, desidido raw talaga siyang mahasa pa sa pag-arte kaya't araw-araw rin daw ang ginagawa niyang workshop sa University of the Philippines.
"May special class acting ako ro'n. May one-on-one, after ng one-on-one, may group din. Actually, nag-acting workshop na ko before, after ng Survivor. Nag-stop lang ako nang magkaroon ako ng mga taping-taping, pero ngayon, balik na ulit.
"Yung nagwo-workshop sa amin, mga theater professor at mga theater actors. Hindi ko lang alam kung gaano katagal ang workshop, pero basta wala akong taping or ibang commitments, siguradong nandoon ako to do workshop."
Ayaw naman daw kasi ni JC na pasukin ang pag-arte nang hindi siya prepared talaga. Mas gusto raw niya na, since nahihiligan na nga niya ang pag-aartista, ay maibigay rin niya ang best niya sa linyang ito, lalo na't alam niyang ipinagkakatiwala sa kanya ng network ang certain projects.
RESPECTING KATRINA HALILI. Sa ngayon, wala raw kay JC kung sinuman ang makakasama niya. Although before, he was vocal na si Heart Evangelista ang crush niya at isa sa mga gustong makasama sa isang show.
Nagbago na ba yun, may iba na ba siyang type na maka-partner? "Wala naman, ako naman, kahit na sino ang makasama ko. Unang-una, wala naman ako sa posisyon na mamili. Kahit sino. Basta ako naman, makasama lang ako sa isang soap, masaya na ko."
Nangiti na lang si JC sabay sabi na, "Magkaibigan pa rin," nang kamustahin namin sa kanya si Katrina Halili.
Aware naman daw siya sa pinagdadaanan ni Katrina ngayon tungkol nga sa controversial video na lumabas sa Internet. Pero, hindi pa raw niya ito napapanood.
May plano ba siyang panoorin? "Huwag na lang siguro. Naikuwento na rin naman sa akin. Ang dami nang nagkuwento. So ako, parang huwag na lang, ayoko na lang panoorin."
Anong na-feel niya for Katrina when he heard the news? "Siyempre, naawa rin ako especially sa mga negative na lumalabas. So ako, mas huwag na lang panoorin, parang respect ko na rin yun kay Kat."
