The month of June has not officially arrived yet, but already YES! magazine—with the Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo wedding on its cover—is reprinting its June issue, just two days after its release on newsstands. Summit Media team publisher for entertainment Danio Caw says: “The original 150,000 copies were not enough to account for all the orders, so we are reprinting 30,000 additional copies of our June issue.”

Even with the wedding of Judy Ann and Ryan covered by television and other print media, there is a clamor for the YES! June issue, which features over 100 photos covering the wedding, church ceremony and sponsors, breakfast and dinner receptions, the couple’s romance, and more. Caw says, “This only shows that YES! is still the most trusted entertainment magazine in the country today.”

The June issue is also the thickest issue of YES!, with 172 pages. The issue is so thick that the usual saddle-stitching could no longer hold the pages together, and printers had to resort to perfect binding. Caw adds: “Despite the increase in the number of pages, we did not increase the price of the issue this month. It is still P95.00.”

It has been a big year so far for YES!  It started the year with a strong January issue featuring Willie Revillame, which counted at least six reprints and reached a total circulation of 300,000 copies. And now, aside from a strong June issue, we will also be coming out with the YES! 100 Most Beautiful issue in June!
