GMA controls 46pct of the audience share in Mega Manila and ABS 34pct of Mega manila audience share, it would equate to 1.6M households for GMA amp; 1.1M for ABS. The diff. s significant 420K TV households or 2.1M people. That is a no. larger than any of the total TV households of Metro Cebu or Metro Davao. Mega Manila 3.5M tv households. Metro Cebu has 260K, Metro Davao has 230K, other key cities have an average TV households of 70K. Luzon amp; Mega Manila 79percent of advertising spots, Vizmin combined 21. Clearly GMA enjoy the status of being No. 1 in Mega Manila. ABS enjoy being no.1 in VIZMIN Area.

I visited a friend na kapuso. Tapos nag commercial sa GMA na number 1 daw sila. Ang pagkakasabi is Mga Kapuso, nananatiling number 1 tayo...

Pero bakit hindi nila sinasabi na number 1 sila sa Mega Manila or buong Pilipinas. Misleading tuloy ang message nila.

i don't believe in TNS, neither do i believe in AGB. Both are only catering on a few number of households, about 3,000 or so. there are millions of Filipinos, hence, any of the two cannot really cover the entire country, however, when movies are shown in theaters, then you will see who really reigns among the stars/celebrities through the income accumulated by their movies
