Two primetime shows premiered last night, June 29—GMA-7's All My Life and ABS-CBN's The Wedding.
All My Life, the first primetime soap of Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal as leads, took over the timeslot of the game show of Ogie Alcasid (as Angelina) and Michael V (as Yaya), Hole In The Wall, which became the pre-programming of the new romantic-drama series. All My Life debuted at No. 9 with 23.6 percent.
The Wedding, which stars Anne Curtis, Derek Ramsay, and Zanjoe Marudo, replaced Kris Aquino's game show, Pinoy Bingo Night. The new romantic-comedy series premiered at No. 10 with 21.1 percent.
This is based on the overnight ratings of AGB Nielsen Philippines among Mega Manila households.
The action-fantaserye Zorro was the overall leader with 34.6 percent, followed by Tayong Dalawa (32.8 percent), 24 Oras (32.6 percent), Totoy Bato (30.8 percent), and May Bukas Pa (29.9 percent).
Completing the Top 10 are Only You (No. 6), Adik Sa 'Yo (No. 7), and TV Patrol World (No. 8).
The country's longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga! was the No. 1 daytime program with 27.4 percent.
GMA-7's Dramarama Sa Hapon trio—Kung Aagawin Mo ang Lahat Sa Akin, Ngayon at Kailanman, and Daisy Siete—took the second to fourth slots. Completing the Top 5 was Wowowee.
Hole in the Wall, on its new timeslot, came in sixth, followed by Kambal Sa Uma, Mr. Bean, Pilipinas, Game KNB?, and One Piece.
JUNE 28. Mel & Joey, the GMA-7 magazine program hosted by Mel Tiangco and Joey de Leon, was the most-watched primetime show last Sunday, June 28, with 24.7 percent.
It was followed by GMA-7's All Star K (23.1 percent), Kap's Amazing Stories (21.9 percent), and Power of 10 (20 percent); and ABS-CBN's Rated K (19.1 percent).
Completing the Top 10 are: Ful Haus, Sharon, The Singing Bee, George and Cecil, and One Glamorous Night: Greater and Grateful at 59, the anniversary special of GMA-7.
The musical-variety show SOP once again topped the daytime race with 17 percent, while its rival program ASAP '09 came in second with 13.7 percent.
Occupying the remaining Top 5 slots are: GMA-7's Joey's Quirky World (13.3 percent), TV5's Spongebob Squarepants (11.9 percent), and ABS-CBN's Matanglawin (11.8 percent).
JUNE 27. Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho maintains its lead as the No. 1 Sunday primetime program by virtue of its 32.1 percent rating.
