Another Precious Hearts Romances series ang gagawin ni Denise Laurel. This time, si  Rafael Rosell naman ang magiging kapareha niya. During the story conference last Friday, July 24, ay nagpakita na si Denise ng kanyang excitement sa bagong show na gagawin.

"I'm so excited because it's a new book from Precious Hearts and we'll gonna make it a series and I'm with Ms. Ina Raymundo who will play as my stepmother at napaka-excited ko talaga because I'll gonna be with old friends like Rafael Rosell na kabarkada ko sa Bud Brothers and also new people that I'm gonna [be] working with, napaka-excited ko talaga."

It's the story of her character's first great love raw that she finds in the mysterious DJ na gagampanan ni Rafael sa Midnight Phantom. Pero in real life, may lovelife ba siya?

"Wala... zero-zero!  But still, it doesn't matter dahil kahit wala ka namang  lovelife, it doesn't mean na hindi ka happy, hindi ka successful. I'm so happy because I have the Bud Brothers barkada and I have my non-showbiz barkada and I have my family.  So, parang napakarami ng love. Tapos busy rin, so, wala nang time."

SERIOUS ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS. Last year pa raw yung huling relationship niya. "I'm taking it slow naman kasi, I'm not in a hurry. And I'm very serious when it comes to relationship."

Pero nag-e-entertain naman siya ng manliligaw? "Ngayon?  Wala!" natatawa niyang sabi.  "Feeling ko, natatakot sila sa akin, e, palagi naman akong naka-smile."

Could it be intimidated sa kanya ang mga guys? "Ewan ko... siguro they always look at me as one of the boys. Mukha lang akong kikay, kasi, palagi akong naka-dress."

Feeling ni Denise, ang challenge raw sa kanila ni Rafael sa Midnight Phantom ay magawa nilang ibang-iba ang characters nila for Midnight sa ginagawa nila ngayon sa Bud Brothers dahil halos magkakasabay raw nilang tine-taping ang both PHR shows.

Pressure rin daw dahil pareho silang nanggaling ni Rafael sa ibang ka-partner.

"Si Raf, he worked with Mariel [Rodriguez] at napakaganda naman po ng pagsasama nila. And I'm gonna miss John Prats also as my partner kasi comfortable na 'ko sa kanya. But it doesn't matter, hindi ko muna iniisip yun.  Iniisip ko muna yung how am I gonna make this just as good as Bud Brothers.  Kailangan one hundred percent siya parehas.

"One hundred percent sa Bud Brothers at one hundred percent sa Midnight Phantom. I'm not thinking muna of what will people say."

LOVETEAM-LESS. How is it for her na since the beginning tila wala pa rin talagang nahahanap na constant ka-love team niya?

"Oo nga... wala pa 'kong nahanap na love team for me. Pero so far, okey sa amin ni John.  Malay natin with Raffy, di ba?  But yes, I've never found a love team, yet. So, I don't know if that's good or that's bad.  Hindi ko alam..."

Dugtong pa niya, "I don't like asking questions kasi sa mga big bosses or sa mga ABS people kasi nahihiya ako. Pero sana, may mahanap na akong love team na tatagal.  Siyempre, you guys grow together kung may constant love team. Alam niyo na ang ugali ng isa't isa. Paano ibabato ang emosyun.  So, siyempre, we all want to have a love team that will stay for a long time."

Diretso na naming tinanong kay Denise kung nararamdaman ba niyang nag-iiwan pa rin siya ng impression na may pagka-conio ang dating, since in real life, hindi maitatangging she came from a very well-to-do family?
