May Bukas Pa once again led all weekday primetime programs last July 24 and July 27 by virtue of its 39 percent and 40.6 percent ratings.

Only You, a romantic-comedy series starring Angel Locsin, Diether Ocampo, and Sam Milby, was also consistent in its second-place finish. The heavy drama Tayong Dalawa and the primetime newscast TV Patrol World alternately occupied the third and fourth spots. All these shows are from the Kapamilya network.

The Koreanovela Boys Over Flowers, another ABS-CBN show, took the No. 5 slot.

GMA-7's primetime campaign was led by the action-fantaserye Zorro, starring Richard Gutierrez. It consistently held the No. 6 position last July 24 and July 27.

The rest of the Top 10 is being fought out by GMA-7's Rosalinda, Adik Sa 'Yo, and 24 Oras, and ABS-CBN's The Wedding.

Although ABS-CBN programs also occupy the top three slots on the weekday daytime race, GMA-7 shows are doing a very good fight.

ABS-CBN's Wowowee and Kambal Sa Uma consistently held the first and second positions, but GMA-7's Eat Bulaga! tied with Precious Hearts Romances Presents Bud Brothers for third place last July 24.

The Kapuso network's Dramarama Sa Hapon trio of Daisy Siete, Kung Aagawin Mo ang Lahat Sa Akin, and Ngayon at Kailanman occupied the next three slots.

The rest of the Top 10, however, came from the Kapamilya network: Maria de Jesus, Pilipinas, Game KNB?, and Love Or Bread.

The daytime race yesterday, July 27, was momentarily "disrupted" by Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's final State of the Nation Address (SONA). The coverage of of ABS-CBN and GMA-7 both entered the winners' circle.

ABS-CBN's coverage titled Pangulong Arroyo: Ang Huling Sona came in fourth place, behind the top three leaders: Wowowee, Kambal Sa Uma, and Love Or Bread—also from the Kapamilya network.

GMA-7's coverage, simply titled State of The Nation Adress, finished in 9th place, behind Precious Hearts Romances, Eat Bulaga!, Ngayon at Kailanman, and Pilipinas, Game KNB?. Completing the Top 10 was Kung Aagawin Mo ang Lahat Sa Akin.

As for the weekend viewing, ABS-CBN programs are still leading.

The drama anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya topped the primetime race last Saturday, July 25; followed by fellow ABS-CBN shows The Singing Bee, and Nasaan Ka Maruja?.

GMA-7's Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho tied with ABS-CBN's XXX for fourth place, while Imbestigador took the fifth place.
